First time cultivating. I enjoy growing tomatoes, strawberries, kale, etc outside during the spring and summer. Now that Cali is rec, im motivated to save on those taxes whenever possible, so this is the next step. I've made some rookie mistakes, and hope this wall-e looking system can do the trick. I got this chem dawg 4 clone from Harborside.
I just stumbled upon grow diaries, so I'm back filling my entries. After purchasing my clone and getting it home I went away for 4days. The 123 grow automatically runs a 14/10 light cycle and Waters every 15 mins for 15 seconds. My leaves started to become a florescent green color and drooping. My friends at Harborside said my plant was I'll and needed some love.
Resilient girl is starting to bounce back. My rookie mistake: just not spending enough time with my plant (and probably not the best setup). My garden outside (Bay Area) just grows by only adding water. Not much TLC needed for kale, strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, etc. Not the case here, growing cannabis is a skill and craft.
My grow diary is finally caught up. I'm entering week 7 on week 7. I have been back logging the previous photos and data. I've learned a lot from seeing other's diaries over there past week. It gives me a bit of confidence to see how others deal with adversity in their op. On to week 8.
Posting this a week late. Pumped that I'm gonna get something to smoke out of my first growing attempt. Really looking forward to my next try. Definitely going to get some lst going. I definitely did some filming on this plant. Going to do some more purposeful cropping next time around.
Grow weed easy says to harvest when 40% of the pistols turn orange. I think I'm about there. My "Charlie Brown Christmas tree" has been resilient. Looking forward to harvesting and starting a again...
You'll get the hang of it :) I hear ya, I had a similar approach at first. My tomatoes do just fine outside, here in the East Bay. But this thing is a bit of a different beast :)
@BigguyWC,I can relate. I was just gonna grow a plant or 2 for fun and keep it casual....now I casually wanna get rid of my furniture and quit my job so I can have more room and time to grow more plants.
