Between these photos and my next, on June 26, my growth was a little stunted. I was behind in transplanting them. I was trying to figure out where to keep them. I live in a condo complex, with little private real estate to keep my guys secure and still getting sunlight. My only and best option was...
I ended up picking their final position on the top of my fence. It's the only place I could of put them whey they are considered on my property, and receiving enough light during the day. The plants were looking a little rough and stunted, as they were getting super root bound.
I put Bob and Marley at the end of the row so that they would get the first of the am light... because they were looking rough when they were transplanted.
I also was a little bored and started creating a support system out of chop sticks and twine... I would go a little crazy on it next week... you will probably laugh at what I'd done.
Okay, now. My explanation of the crazy twins and stick city I constructed.
I had just trimmed a tree in my back yard, and I noticed the plants were outgrowing their chop stick supports. So, I decided to use sticks as supports. For Mary and Jane, the sticks were reasonably... but it got a little bit away from me on Bob, and somewhat marley. I do realize that I'm going to need to do some bending to get adequate light on the buds, away from the sticks... but I'll cross that bridge when needed.
Now, I'm kinda glad I went with the sticks. I have a berry tree in my backyard and there are dozens of birds around the plants all day long. I find that now they tend to leave the plants alone and they fly clear of them due to the stick hazard.
Just been watering them & keeping their bed as weed free as I can. Bob and Marley seem to have recovered from their rough start. Marley is the tallest.
