Another hot one. My area is having heat and humidex warnings. I had made some amendment tea using blood and bone meal, alfalfa meal compost, worm castings, and molasses, and gave it to the seedlings today. Risky, I diluted it, and then diluted again. Any trace nutrients are fine. We shall see what it does. End of day, they seem fine.
No. 3, the one in the alfalfa mix, has been messed up since the start, but its very clear now. Could be the strength of the amendment (likely), but it could also be the root system. I noticed that cup’s medium was a rock after the first irrigation. I need a wetting agent or something.
The projected high today: 32 degrees Celsius. The daytime length is 15hours8minutes.

Had to bring the seedlings inside during a rainy day. The clouds cleared and the humidity soared and so there was a chance to get back outside for the evening and night. I also gave a bit of water.
Projected high today was 26 degrees Celsius, not sure if they were outside at that point. The daytime length is 15hours6minutes.

Tricked by the weather! It was rain and then breaking skies yesterday, with no projection of overnight rain, the container, ground, and solo cups say otherwise. Thankfully, it is blistering hot and humid so they look fine. No. 3 is still comically struggling 🤡
The projected high today is 29 degrees Celsius. It IS going to rain tonight so they will be brought in for 24 hours of warmth and light.

I played the indoor/outdoor game all day as the weather projected thundershowers, changed, changed again, etc. At the end of the day it turned out to be sweltering, so hot. They got a good amount of sun and UV.
At the end of the day we did get eventual night time thunder and lightning, so they spent the night inside under LED light, to be moved back out come morning.

A good streak of heat wave continues for the seedlings (not for me). Its been hot. I got to water Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5.
Projected high was 31 degrees C, the daytime length 14hours58minutes.

Raw footage director’s cut: moving the seedlings inside today to avoid on/off thundershowers. Outside freedom to creepy murder basement. Halfway through the video I realize I don’t have enough hands for the camera, seedlings, and door(s). Amateur hour.

The Original Six lineup:
No. 1 - Boston Bruins with a good team this year.
No. 2 - Chicago Blackhawks with the clear lead, dominating the standings.
No. 3 - Detroit Red Wings at the bottom of the league, pitiful. I think it died.
No. 4 - Montreal Canadians, probably in second place, and breathing down the necks of the leader.
No. 5 - New York Rangers, respectable, in the thick of things.
No. 6 - Toronto Maple Leafs, of course my heart is cheering this one, but just middle of the pack.
Top dressed every seedlings with some worm castings and a small amount of Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose amendment.
Enjoy some photos from The Original Six era, circa late 1940s. Some of my favourite Leafs including two of the greatest of all time, the KLM line, and Gold Dust Twins. Syl Apps and Turk Broda in particular, went overseas to fight in World War II, returned veterans and then continued to play at a high level and light up the NHL. Post-war, they helped start the most successful dynasty in Maple Leafs history.
Nice weather today, the projected high was 28 degrees Celsius. The daytime length is 14hours54minutes. Officially sub fifteen hours, flower is coming for outdoors.
Dude. . . Bringing the A game as always. A hidden off grid contender BudXs style. Love it! Thanks for the kind words sir. We sure give it our best! Awesome grow. Killer diary!
