Not a good start. I didn't research the soil at all. So of course I got some miracle grow. I've corrected that but for now they are sitting in the stuff. I'm hoping they can last long enough to transplant them. I ordered some co-coire fiber, worm castings, power bloom, and all purpose fertilizer from gia green. Im warry to add nutrients since they are being drowned in them anyway atm. At least it's a starter medium.?
Leaves dried out a bit on the bruce banner (top right). I looked it up and it might be a gnat infestation but I don't see any flying around. I don't think it's under-watering since the medium isn't dry very often. The top left, northern lights, is also getting yellow leaves. This might be nutrient burn or gnats. No idea. I hope they can live long enough to transplant. I'm p;planning on doing that asap into some 1 liter bags. Not great week and they seem small. The two little guys were also germinated about 5 days late since the first batch didn't take for whatever reason.
I'm waiting on neema oil but I'm not sure that's the problem. It's a brand new tent and brand new soil. But I'm new so I have no idea. I raised the lights a little. I water once every 2 days or when the soil is dry. Not using nutrients in the water. I don't have a PH thing here.
Root bound in that mesh, I always take that sucker off..
pH is big and most of the problems..
add a little nitrogen in there.
Could be anyone of those issues. Good luck
Well, i did overwater them a little but they seem fine. Huge improvement over the last week when they were drying out. The water is slightly lower PH but I'm still waiting for PH lower kit to arrive via amazon. Moved them into 1 gallon pots at the beginning of the week. Coca, worm castings, all purpose fet, and power bloom. Don't ask what amounts. I have no idea. I had to add a little of the miracle grow so the pots weren't filled to half. Sucks but better then less soil. They really perked up after that. I'll have to get another fan in there since I'm not so worried about the temp. I added a grow mat under there but I'll have to raise the plants off it so the roots don't deal with higher temps.
Down to three. Two are sick. Removed the webbing around two of the 'growing pods' or whatever their called. Maybe that will help. I'm not holding out much hope.
