7.23.20 Her tail popped quick! It was almost half an inch over night which is nuts fast compared to what I've seen before. So in the dirt and cup she went last night.
7.26.20 I didn't get it updated yesterday but she popped her head above the soil last night. Beautiful peeker! Sweet Seeds ain't joking with fast growth!
7.28.20 Well I just about cried last night but she's still alive today so we may be alright. I went to pick the cup up to take a photo and I slipped and my fingernail hit the stem. She's a little bent but still alive so far. 🤞
7.31.20 I was a little late updating. Sorry about that. I got a little bit distracted yesterday, then when I realized today it was nighty-night time for the ladies so I had to wait patiently to take photos to share. She is still doing really well even though I nearly decapitated her with my nail last week. She healed beautifully, a little crooked but hey, what's perfect anyway? This week I'm going to start very miniscule amounts of NFTG Medusa's Magic. See if I can keep this growth going in this itty bitty container.
Very late update, was in the hospital for several days. Thanks to my other half, who knows nothing about growing, pH requirements, or nute levels for taking the best care he could while I was away.
After only a day or so of my care and she's on the mend. The deficiency signs are fading and she's standing upright again. Looking good with all things considered.
No real news this week. She's growing good now that I'm back in charge. I think she may have stunted a bit while I was gone so we shall see how well she catches up. So far though, I'd say she's doing a lot better than the other solo cup I have going.
8.24.20 she's starting to flower! Yeah! Pretty little flower starts.
I am so happy with this week's growth! She's coming along beautifully and is even starting to get the sweet beginnings of flowers. I am impressed with how she's growing in this small cup! I have to say this is some pretty strong genetics for sure!
I water daily and every other day she gets fed very lightly then I add a tiny bit of pHd water on top to make sure she isn't choked with nutes. So far it's working.
This is such a beautiful lady! Her flowers already have a nice red tint to them. This is going to be one delicious cup!
The only issue I am having right now is her leaves are like lady fingers clawing downward. Maybe I've over watered? She gets a little every day as she fries out quickly. Any tips here, leave them in the comments please.
The Red Poison from Sweet Seeds is absolutely amazing! Here I am stressing her by keeping her in such a small container for this contest and aside from the bottom leaves curling under at the sides she is doing amazing things! Those buds are BEAUTIFUL! The coloring is amazing on her and the trichs are already filling in abundantly. Everyday when I check on her she leaves me with a huge smile! I'm definitely loving this strain!
9.17 she continues to grow. I had to get a couple more photos of her beautiful cola.
9.22.20 this lady isn't very big but she sure is beautiful! I got a comparison photo of her and the Red Poison I planted a couple weeks later in a 7 gal pot. Wow! The difference is huge!
I can say that I've loved the challenge of growing in such a small container but Im gonna love the results of the larger pot better.
Hi everyone! My little contest lady is starting to have some troubles. Can anyone tell me what is going on and what I canshould do to help her on this last stretch of time before harvest.
Ooh this is such a beautiful strain! I've enjoyed every minute of this grow! Each day I marvel at her beauty and smell. Gorgeous plant. I can't wait to see if she tastes as good as she looks and smells. I do believe next week will be the chop. We'll see.
Starting the flush today. I like the earlier part of the harvest window as I don't particularly have time for couch-lock most days. She looks and smells absolutely amazing! I can't wait to taste her deliciousness!
10.8.20 - ladies and gentlegrowers, we've had another accidental beheading! She was all milky but I was trying to wait until the ambers were at 10% nooooope, my clumsy self dropped something on her and knocked her head off. Well, I guess I'm getting a taste early. I'm going to let her bottom larfy larf fatten up a bit before I take her all the way down. RIP beautiful head, for you will be in my bowl soon.
These buds are beautiful and taste amazing! I only wish this was my larger plant I was harvesting so there was more. The buds on this plant are not very dense but that may be because of the limited space. We shall see on the 7gal lady.
My official opinion is ..... I LOVE the taste! I'm going to enjoy what little I harvested from this plant.
