This week was a real challenge. One of the dehumidifiers I had hanging in my tent fell and crushed some of my plants. It took off a few of the side branches from euforia and blue cheese. The humidity was up to 70 and I was having to open the front panel and keep it open because I was worried about how humid it was. Because I'm inexperienced and greedy, I decided to start with 6 plants in my 3x3 tent, so there is absolutely no extra room for anything other than hanging things above the plants. I think I finally figured out a system to get the humidity down by putting a stronger dehumidifier on the outside of the tent next to the larger vent. For now it seems to be working as the humidity finally came down to around 48. I think another error I made was cheaping out on a PH meter initially. I was using a soil meter to measure the water I was using and it kept showing as 7.2, so I kept adding some apple cider vinegar to lower it. I think a few of my previous waterings (in week 4) had water that was very low PH. I finally bought a better meter and realized how much Id screwed up the PH because even a tiny amount of the apple cider vinegar changed the PH by A LOT. Hopefully I wont face nutrient lock out because of this error. The final error was overdoing the nutrients, so much so that one of my euforia plants looks very sad and depressed and has a lot of discoloration in the leaves. I flushed her and she's drying out now. Im hoping she'll recover. Hopefully next week will go a little smoother.
Update:
Flushing Euforia made a Huge difference. She is still drying out, but her leaves look more lively even though there is still some discoloration. Im optimistic that she'll recover. The white widow runt has really taken off. Although it flowered a little after the others, I think now she might be my tallest plant.
Nice, i am happy i found your diary. Your White Widow is on pretty much the same stage as mine +- 3 days. (your day51 WW) and your on the same nutes.. i shall follow your progress. 👍
Don't put yourself down with a bad title like that! They are looking great on the whole and dont think the yield will disappoint. Good luck and happy growing
@BlueBillie, You're welcome pal. That's what its all about, learning from everything we do. To make the next better and then the next etc 😁 2 ounces won't be a problem looking at them now! You got this. Following along to see how it goes. Good luck again
@HighFromHome, thank you for the encouragement. If these ladies even give a few ounces I'll be over the moon. This grow has been challenging but also rewarding. I'm learning alot and hopefully future grows will run a little smoother.
