As you can see one of the girls is making fatter buds while her sister is making long and thin buds, lets see how they turn out!
In hindsight I should have topped her when she was 4 nodes high but that is a learning experience. I have just upgraded to a SF 4000 light and I have about a month and a week untill shes ready.
If this light is delivering a 1000w hps equivalent I have just light upgraded 400watts more power draw from switching from the Viparspectra r900 to the Spider Farmer.
In terms of price the Spider farmer was more expensive by almost double the price of the r900 but the power draw was so impressive, to get a 1000w MH equivallent with 450 watts draw. thats fucken economical'

I hope for future grows I make monsters, Im only just new to this still
its been a few grows and constant upgrades and nute investigation and research
i can only get better, This light is newer technology so I assume Ill get instant better results, lets watch her grow the next month and see how much bud she puts on

Ive been working with cyco nutes feeding schedule, im burning her. I want to switch back to bio bloom full time, cyco products after opened only last 6 months, thats only 2 grows to get it done you know?
if you're using it in hydro fair enough but for a soil grow i do not advise, i think the soil already had enough nutes in it, but i have seen potassium deficiency in my leaves, so im confused a bit but more or less
the majority of my baby looks healthy.

the big ass leaves feed your Plant... i wont take any leave away now, because she needs it. You can top her ;to open the canopy. And later in week 2 of flower you can take away blocking leaves.
Iam no frind of defoiliation is classic way. iam a big friend of taking away some disturbing leaves, cleaning up the bottom area of the Plant
This big leaves feed her and she will get stunted if you take away those. later if shes bigger she dont have that big need to keep them-
you can look into my diary " organic bananas" that plant developed biiig leaves too,,, and i let her doing it... other growers took them away,,, and the plant had to work for 10 days to regrow another nutrientleave

You have plenty of light getting into your girls, wait until they have many leaves before removing the fan leaves. Once you switch to 12 12 then the 2 weeks of stretch, then remove your big sun blocking leaves. Cheers

i would say leave her be, you have plenty of room for light penetration. so if i was you i would bend down the main cola so the side branches and lower branches get as big as the main branch or cola area. this way there is little to no stress to the plant and you get a nice harvest as well. now you can take just a few of the bigger leaves off this week and just a few off next week, but if you take too much off you may loose out on a harvest. i say no but in the end it is up to you

If you're gonna do it, then do it within the first, and no later than the second week after going 12/12.

Personally, looking at your plant, I wouldn't defoliate it. It looks fine with plenty of room for light to reach lower parts. ´
- Maybe take a couple of the biggest leaves if you absolutely have to, but a defoliation might just end up hurting your end result if you aren't careful with how you go about it.

How low can I go?

I am using a Spider Farmer SF-4000, How close can I bring this light to my buds? I've got it down to 30 cms now, can I go lower? or is 30cm ample?
I've just switched lights so if anyone has experience with this lamp please let me know :)

I have the SF1000 and SF2000 and I keep them around 16” away during flower. If you just switched to this light, I’d bring it up a few to avoid any stress and slowly lower back down.
