Soaked seeds 14hr plant at midnight
85l Ffof soil with 20l of perlite rinsed
(Thought I calculated liters to fill pots)
Evenly placed in four 7 gallon pots Mixed with half strength nutes moist
Pots well moist with soaked seeds Covered for just 4 and 5 days
Kept moist with rain water and nutes.
Rotated water wt nutes every other day
I have had 3 sprouts doing well one seems to be stunted for some reason cause it wont drow its first leafs. Not sure but its stalled with just its seed leafs. From what I read it could be a old seed or a degenerative seed. Maybe its me tho first grow. I fukd up and put 2 seeds in one pot. I decided to uproot it before the tap root hopefully didn't get too embedded in the soil. I think pinching the delicate stem the slightest has caused some crookedness to it but is looking good so far. Not sure when I should put it in its final pot. Its fricking hot here in Southern Alberta Canada. 30 - 35C outside so far. These autoflowers better make it in time before too cold. I'll be building a greenhouse in October for a couple weeks of flower. Apparently Stitches Mi5 auto does well and turns a nice purple in October cooler evenings.

It had been the most growth yet in week 3. Fixed a sulfur deficiency by adding Epsom salts. Was a bit late identifying early signs of thrips. I sprayed them twice with soap and has made quite a difference. But still inoticed some on one plant after 2 consecutive nights of soap soaking the leaves. Started watering a lot more and full strength nutes mid week and really started to gro after that. It's been super hot outside southern Alberta +30 every day and just hit +37 the other day

I expect by the diaries of LSD 25 that the 2 I have will start flower stage this next week. I tried to fim one of them a few days ago and looks to be recovering already. I think I may have done it too close to flower and may lessen my yeald. The other one seems to not be affected negatively to tying her down. Still a bit of a battle with thrips but not too noticable. Still applying insecticidal soap every few days. It's still been +30 every day at least. But it's getting cold at night and droped to 7°C last night. So to avoid root problems I feed late evening and water early mornings (rotated). I also built a greenhouse for the cooler nights to come and possible frost if I need an extra week or 2 for flowering in October.

This shoud be my last week of theyre vege state. I dont see any signs of flowering in these autos yet. I've managed to expose many more bud sites this week with continued lst and leaf tucking. The side branching is all pretty much even on the 2 lsd 25. I Fimmed the gimpy LSD and is doing well. Many new branches grew within days. I bent the mi5 over because there seemed to be little growth with the side branches but its overall stunted. I haven't seen much growth or new leafs in 4 days. I suspect a few things but probably due mostly to overwatering. These damned trips are a pain in the ass. I seem to keep them to a minimal with insecticidal soap. But I dont want to be spraying them once I have bud on the plants. Id like to get more hot weather to help dry up the soil in the next few days. I built a cheap shelter I assume to also have to use a space heater in the last weeks. It's been getting cold at nights already. Goes from +30 during the day to +8 at night lately. They should start to stretch and show signs of flowering any day I hope.
