Day 21 of flower I give my girls a good schwazzing. I remove EVERYTHING on the bottom 1/3 of the plant and then pull any water leaf off that isnt directly attached to a bud site (and then some). This was an experiment and first time of me doing this after reading about it online and seeing a bunch of big time growers doing it.
The buds are definitely starting to grow in size and the frost is unreal! the scent coming off these plants are definitely 2 different phenos entirely. Pheno 1 is much more gassy with some lemon/berries. Pheno 2 is very cookie/dough smelling with some weird citrus/fruit I cant figure out.
Day 45 of flower they got their 2nd defoliation and boy oh boy did they need it. Now look at em. BEASTS. If you are growing photoperiods and not schwazzing, you need to step ya game up!
I am really impressed with this strain. Its putting on some very good weight. The buds are formed all the way down each branch. They are decently hard and getting very frosty. The difference between the two phenos at this point is more in the smell of them than the looks. They are almost identical except the terps are completely different.
I cant state enough how stank these two phenos are. The one that has the gassy smell to it is so strong my carbon filter isnt keeping up at all. The cookie/dough smelling one has taken on a berry smell to it as well and is very intoxicating smelling. I've been keeping an eye on the trichomes and harvest should probably be next weekend. I cannot wait to squish some of this into rosin once its dry and cured a bit.
Update 8/17: Had a branch break off of pheno 2 when I was watering. She is super ripe. I'll try to get some trichome shots with my scope if I have time later. Will definitely get some when I harvest the plants
this plant was super easy to grow. it loved being topped and took full strength nutes like a boss. highly suggest. pheno 2 ended up being 178g (dried). Pheno 1 was a whopping 238g (dried)! Pheno 2 is very diesel flavored with berries while the pheno 1 is just straight up "kush" funk. Cant wait for them to cure! It really irritates me how the gram / watt is incorrect. The King Plus 2000 model draws 392 watts at the wall. It is not 2000 watts. 413 grams / 792 watts = 0.52g/watt
