Got these plants as rescues, they were infested with powdery mildew, and under a bad light cycle causing them to flower prematurely. I cleaned up the dead growth over a period of a week or so after planting them into my yard, as well as weekly misting with a milk based spray to combat the PM as they returned to vegetative growth.

I'm posting this after the fact so I'm kind of lacking on pictures as I didn't think the plants would turn out as vigorous as they have since then. This is about 2 weeks after being put into the ground and had a bit of lower defoliation and lst, as well as super-cropping as normal. I've been feeding with organics mainly in the form of compost, but I also have added some custom blends of synthetic fertilizer as a boost since cannabis is such a heavy feeding annual.

Plants begun the flowering stretch about a week ago, growing like monsters daily, added in a trellis net to do a semi scrog, but its mostly there to support the buds when they grow in. Took clones off the monster on the right a week prior, and they are nearly rooted and ready for next year. Pleasantly surprised how much they have come back from the brink of death, to go through PM, and having to re-veg in the middle of the grow season to make a plant sea of gorgeous green across a large part of my backyard. Plants have purposely been trained short because of the original structure being a failed mainline meant for indoor, as well as having neighbors in close proximity. I'm also testing to see whether a scrog type setup would have any other real benefits due to apical dominance in the top shoot being split more evenly across many top shoots, I swear by scrog indoors so it honestly just feels more natural to me outdoors.

Fairly standard week, plants growing vigorously despite their rough start, cant wait to see some bud formation in the next couple weeks, this part is always my favorite.

photos taken september 2nd, gotta work on keeping more consistent logging in the future, Plants are all doing their own thing for the most part, its been raining a lot so I haven't had to water at all, which is nice but it makes it difficult to address nutrient issues, some lower leaf yellowing, which is normal but the one small girl seems to be showing deficiency harder than the rest, but shes also budding faster so I dosed with some fairly strong 6-10-12 ratio all around them to let the rain water it in, and it seems to mostly have corrected itself

Growing outdoors is a lot less work than indoors thats for sure, plants are all doing their own thing and going strong, Budlets are forming really nicely and its going to be an absolute treat to watch these ladies grow. Small plant on the left starting budding like a week or two before the bigger ones, so it will be interesting to see how it does in terms of yield when compared to the green monster on the end
