Seeds arrived today and we put 2 in covered solo cups to sprout.
They're already sprouting. The one looks like it molded. Hope it lives.

Looking better. Think I planted the one seed a bit shallow.
Starting wk 3
Everyone in the room in dirt got a dose of liquid Sevin and the tops sprayed with Neem Oil. Been dealing with aphids a long time.
Time to break out the big guns.
Nobody is happy. Maybe I mixed it too strong? They will get over it.
These girls were repotted yesterday. 10 gallon fiber pots which are significantly less than 10 gallons. Dirt is Fox Farms Ocean Forrest, no amendments yet. Seem to be doing ok.
Looks like Fox Farms Ocean Forrest is a bit too hot for these plants. They're still growing but leafs look funny kind of like too much nitrogen I think.
Still growing well. The plants think the Ocean Forest soil is a bit too hot it looks like. Going to just let em go.
Topped both plants, let's see if they bush out a bit. Next trim in a week or so will be fim.
Topped the plants and thinned em out a bit. Took a few clones off em. Otherwise doing good.
The one needs a good rinsing, still has Sevin dust on it. Sprayed with neem oil also.
This project has been a pia.
Roots clogging stuff up, air bubbler crapping out, water getting out of whack, etc.
On the plus side, when everything is right, growth was phenomenal.
Lessons learned so far- bigger resevior makes adjusting a tad bit easier. Also changed in chemistry don't happen as fast. Keep a close eye on pH, cause if it's off, the plant takes a bit real fast. Watch the ppm, less seemed better. If you start out with hard well water you might not be able to add as many nutes.
The solo cup reference plant is a cut bunch of Bud.
