Growing "outdoors" (on my balcony) in western Greece in early autumn in a small 5L pot in soil. Mixed 25g of all-purpose easy boost organic nutrition and abt 5g of mycorrhiza mix in the soil, watered using bottled drinking water (no pH testing or water processing equipment available) and pretty much left it alone after that. This is a COMPLETE AMATEUR grow, in fact this is my very first seed to germinate. The purpose of this grow is to A)stop wasting money on dubious "street vendors" and B)figure out if it is possible to grow my very own weed and to what extend using minimal equipment and nothing but my Google search skills and patience and hopefully prove that you really don't need much to grow-your-own even as a total N00B as myself. Baby is growing strong, still no smell whatsoever. Started LST today, will post an update in a couple of days once it starts to show.
Day 17 update, BABY GOT PISTILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (still no smell) Also decided against LST after all, she's a bit crooked but should grow straight in a couple of days.
Day 20 update, started feeding them with RQS bloom booster tablets (as per instructions), watering is still very modest at about 500ml every other day although she has been growing thirstier lately.
Day 23, baby growing strong, popped a tone of pistils and her main top is shaping great, no smell yet, took her off bloom booster for now, will resume next week

Day 25, discovered leaf miners, clipped the leaf, treated with neem oil, it has been a very rainy couple of days recently with above average (for this time of the year) humidity, I'm sure it didn't help.
Day 28, rain has passed and we are back to our usual nice Mediterranean weather. Baby seems to be doing fine following that leaf miner incident, I think I panicked more than she did. Onwards and upwards from now on hopefully!
I got creepy crawlies. Clipped the entire leaf, mixed abt 3 drops of neem oil in 100-150ml tap water and sprayed the f*ck out of it. Then I checked the rest of my plants, found nothing but decided to spray them anyway. When should I re-apply? Any adverse effects of neem oil?
They recommend using once a week to prevent the pest from returning so in about a week my friend. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember " Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time ".
Day 32, baby is in full flowering mode now, still no smell but otherwise looking GREAT! Its has been raining quite a lot in the last few days and the lack of sunshine seems to have slowed down her growth a bit, still bud formation seems to be progressing very well so I'm not that worried, besides, our beautiful Mediterranean sun more than makes it up when it does shine so it's all good!
Day 39, the rain and lack of sunlight last week made sure there would be no growth during that time whatsoever. Buds have developed a bit but nothing spectacular. Let's hope this week is better, nice bit of frosting developing BTW.
Day 43, nothing much to report, buds are fattening and some (less than 3%) of the pistils have turned red but nothing too spectacular. The weather has gotten significantly better and humidity has dropped a bit. Terpenes have finally begun developing and so far it has developed a very faint grassy and sweet smell.
Day 47, weather has gotten A LOT better lately and it is starting to show on the girls too. No growth just bud fattening and pistil reddening!
Day 53 and baby is growing strong! Weather has been great and it shows! Very little growth at this point, just bud ripening, more and more pistils are turning red. Bought myself a cheap-ass jeweler's loop. Remember this is supposed to be a low-tech growth so I'm very budget conscious. Trichomes are 80% cloudy, 20% clear with no red ones showing yet so a couple more weeks of growth I suppose should be enough.
Day 60, weather is holding all is good! I'm keeping her on bloom booster for now, temperatures have dropped a bit and progress has been slower than I would have liked but baby is doing great nonetheless, with nothing but cloudy trichomes all over (very few reds, maybe 10%, no clear ones) things couldn't look better for her. Did some selective defoliation a couple of days ago as well but I will not mark it as a "grow technique" as it was literally 3 leaves that I've cut.
Day 62, not much change, still many white pistils and very few red trichomes
Day 67, last bloom feeding today, next week I'm flushing and I aim on harvesting this time next week. Development has been exemplary with this one, no clear trichomes left anymore and ambers are at about 20% of the total. Fingers crossed!
Day 75, very little progress since last week, no visible clear trichomes left anymore, abt 20-25% reds the rest are all cloudy. I think it's time to harvest!
Fast to sprout, easy to grow, beautiful to look at, incredible to smoke! Got 26 grams (wet) in a pathetic 5L plastic pot in soil with only basic nutrients, very low maintenance and apart from watering not much care, training or pruning. 26g for a single plant may not seem like a lot but are directly proportional to the initial equipment investment (and that was almost non-existent) and amount of effort that has gone into it (which was very little). In terms of quality the flowers were beautiful and I couldn't be happier, more below on the smoke report!
Giggly and creative effects. Lemony and piney flavours. Not much in terms of negative effects, no dry mouth, no dry eyes, my sleeping patterns and paranoia are a lot more heavily affected by my coffee drinking habits than my weed smoking habits so no comments there. What it lacks in dry weight it makes up in sticky-yummy resin, bud density and raw potency.
