60x60 Critical SoG (first grow)

First week of my first grow. So do not follow my mistakes but please comment! Let’s go! I soaked the seeds in a glas of water for 10h.(until the seeds drop to the bottom of the cup) After that i have placed them in a papertowel and waited till the roots come out (about 24h) I have planted the seeds in 6L plastic pots witha complete coco light mix (no furtelisers) LED was at 40cm from the plants. They sprouted after 32h. The seedlings which were placed in the corners of the tent, grown realy high and „leggy” stems. The NEWBIE-me thought: „They have not enought light!!!!” So I’ve put them another 60W LED panel in the tent so.. Temperatures went CRAZY reaching almost 40 Celcius! Results? Leaves turned a bit yellow and the edge curled up.. (Fotos) I have removed the second LED panel to lower the temps and I placed the 140W LED around 33CM from the plants This was a another mistake. The plants in the center grew very fast, very big. The leaves were a bit discoloured and curled. The other plants are quite smaller. Now I have my LED at 55CM, seems to be a lot better and cover the corners of the tent with light well.. (Stupid me🤦‍♂️) I have fed them nutrients one week after germination.

I have changed the order of the plants in the tent, so that the smaller, more leggier babies could get some direkt "sunlight". Plants grow very fast! They do not seem to bother or be "stunt" from the hight temperatures and my constant experiments with ventilation, grow lights etc. The leaves have some fight marks tho´ (foto) Some are still curling up and most of them have a bit of a yellow color. New leaves seem to look completely fine. I live in Spain, it is summer, hot outside and no air conditioning...during the day, temperatures in my flat do NOT fall under 28 Celcius. Thats why I turn the lights on in the night. It is the only way to keep the temp under 30 degrees C. There is not much DAY and NIGHT temperature difference tho´! Lights on - around 30 degrees Celcius Lights off - 27 - 29 degrees Celcius For veg still ok but we might walk into some trouble during flowering (what do you think?)!

So, there were only 6. I removed 2 plants which naturaly topped themselves. They did not keep up with the growthspeed of her sisters either. I decided to keep them in vegetative stage for a bit longer in a second LED setup, just for testing. You can follow this diary here: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/78139-critical-granel-tecnocultivo-grow-journal-by-mad-nad To reduce the size of the plants, the breeder of this strain, recomended to switch to flower just after 10 days from germ. 14th day from germ, I swiched to 12/12 I raised the LED panel as far as it was is possible because of hight temperatures. Plants grow fast ✌️

We start 4th week now. I managed to go down with temperature during „daytime” by changeing to a small 60W LED. Lights on and we finaly are under 28 Celcius! Lights off is around 28 Celcius as we still have perfect weather here. The plants show minor heat damages. I introduced LST on day 24 and realized I should done it about one week sooner. (First grow and no experience) Ended up breaking the tallest plant.. As she did not have much going on on the lower parts (not many new leaves or branches) and her leaves were stealing a lot of light, I decided to remove her Now theres only 5. Day 26 I watered them with nutrients. It was exactly 7 days after the last watering where I gave them 1-1,5L water with 2 ml Top Veg + 2 ml agamic per plant. Now its the same thing. Around 1200ml of water with 2 ml of Bloom+2 ml algamic per plant.

Plants grow vigorously now! First flowers appeared. There seems to be no issues apart from spacing problems caused by my poor pot choice. Still going on a 60W LED and im thinking about finishing this grow with it, just to see and learn what the result will be.

Here we go! The plants are still stretching! All plants are mature now and develop small buds! Last day of the week I watered them with TOP CROPs “BUD PACK” and gave them the minimum recommended dosage. I’m very interested if the TOP BUD flower stimulator will show some immediate results. 🤞

There we go!! This is the last week i’ll be giving them furtelisers.. Its about 2-3 weeks to go.. can not wait! As you can see, I am determined with that “LST” , which sometimes is somewhat more stressfull and ended up breaking some of the colas. But.. do not worry, some ducktape Will do the job 😝

So... it happened Because of the lack of space and poor light I decided to defoliate them a bit.. No water the whole week, as the soil was still quite humid

Well.. we are at the finishing line. The buds are not big but looking very delicious! Only a two cups of water for each plant this week..
