All 6 seeds germinated using the shot glass method 👌As soon as seeds are open and the tap root slightly exposed, I popped them all in their medium. All germinated the same time. 4 of the mediums are Atami High Porosity Coco, 1 is Atami Bi-Grow and the last 1 is a 50/50 mix
Seedlings all looking good, except for the one in the Atami Bi-Grow only. Seems like the soil might be too hot. Never experienced this before. Will keep an eye on this one.
Week 2, day 1 (10 days since germination) Seedlings all looking good so far with all the leaves praying.
Plants in Bi-Grow and mixed 50/50 high porosity coco leaves are looking huge. Many worry about Bi-Grow being too hot for seeds, but as you can see, no issues.
I had to adjust my lights from 50cm to 40cm towards the end of the week as my plants were seeing a little stretch.
Bi-Grow and Bi-Grow mix have not received any fertilizer. Only Environoc 401 added.
Week 3, day 1. 15 days since germination.
Everything looking good. Going to start feeding the 2 plants in the Bi-Grow and Bi-Grow mix calmag once this week. Leaves are looking huge in the Bi-Grow only ! Will do a light feed of Biobizz Bio Grow later in the week (1ml per litre).
Plants in Coco ticking along as they should. Will start upping the GHE to 1ml Grow + 1ml Bloom per litre (2ml total per litre)
Watering Coco every second day and Bi-Grow's every 3 day.
Bi-Grow from my previous experience is definitely easier to grow with than Coco
Week 4, day 1. 22 days since germination.
Everything looking good still.
Plant in Bi-Grow is looking huge ! Will have to see if it ends in bigger yields.
Feeding Bi-Grow with 2ml/L Biobizz Bio Grow and TA Calmag at 1ml/L for both Bi-Grow and Bi-Grow mix.
Plants on Coco looking healthy 👌
Plant in Bi-Grow was getting too tall and it did not work with my lights as I need the plants to stay the same height as much as possible. Although it was interesting to see the difference in morphology. I have moved the plant in the Bi-Grow outdoors as summer is starting where I live, so it should get 12 hours of direct sunlight from here on in 👍
The Bi-Grow plant that I had to take outside unfortunately got badly damaged due very heavy winds the last week unfortunately :(
Day 38 for the girls indoor. Everything still looking good.
The other 5 girls are growing great. The one grown organically is now on 3ml per litre of Biobizz Bloom. Coco only ones are now on 1ml per litre of FloraCoco.
Got a new 200w strip to assist flowering
Day 45 since germination.
Girls all seems healthy and growing well.
Had to move the Coco peat mix outdoors as it was getting too big for the room. Seems like the plants veg longer when using liquid organic nutrients. Dutch Passion Autos are phenomenal.
So far so good !
Still going strong. Girls are between 80 and 90cm. I'm feeding 10L every 48h. Going to start reducing the Grow nutrients to 0.75ml/L and keep the Bloom nutrients at 1.5ml/L.
Day 60 since germination. Started first feed of Ripen at 3ml/L for the two smaller plants as they look like they will finish at least a week sooner than the other two. Other two larger, slower growing plants, I'm sticking to 1ml/L for both Grow and Bloom. Watering 10L per 48h per plant.
Plants are starting to finish and will be harvested next week. All plants are looking great. The biggest plant has the smallest buds, but I am happy it does because it looks like the classic Orange Bud "golf ball" nugs I have learned to love over the years. The smoke it's going to phenomenal. Will take a close up pic to show the tons of frost on the buds and sugar leaves
Smell is super strong in the room. Buds all smell super sweet with a very strong citrus note, but the sweetness dominates. Can't wait to smoke this post cure.
Started feeding 3ml/L of GHE Ripen on day 60 (six days ago) and upped it to 5ml/L today. Buds swole massively after using the Ripen. It's easy to see why this product is GHE's best selling product.
Day 80 since germination. Been pumping the GHE Ripen the last week and the plants seem to love it. Started the Florakleen on 3 of the 4 plants as one is maturing slower. Defolitated two plants to make harvest easier. Buds seem very dense and super frosty (my camera doesn't really catch the shimmer).
Will be harvesting this week so my next update will be after the buds are dry and trimmed for the weigh-in.
Very happy with my harvest. 383g of rock hard buds with 28g of porcorn nugs for a total of 411g.
The smoke is powerful ! Very strong stuff. True skunk effect. Feels like a more powerful and better tasting UK Cheese.
My benchmark is Fastbuds Sour Diesel, Seedsman Auto Amnesia and Bulk Seed Bank AK 47, all grown by me, and the Dutch Passion Auto Orange is by far the most potent, and it tastes great without having been properly cured. Can't want to smoke this in about 4 weeks when cured 👌
