Started off in tuppawear for 24 hours then went to paper towel for 48 most where an inch tall and ready to shed the seed shell i would say about 2 in each pack where straglers with half inch roots
100% germination regardless
I wanted to try and keep these all in the same "schedule" so i didnt consider day 1 Till the last straggler popped up probably at least 1-2 days later then the rest. So its 1-2 days fluxuation between popping most where opened up by day 2-3 after burying
Also side note currently for the pop i am using 4 1,500 lumen 2,500K CFl and 1 800 lumen 5,000K CFL
Officially day 7 of this adventure! Added a couple more cfl
3 of 1,500 lumen 500k and 2 of 800 lumen 500k
Plants are looking si happy and amazing had a little strech problem with a couole but j just added more soil for support and they all look pretty good now! Still have the stragler Chocolate Marshmallow but she looks great!
Day 14, the last week was an Amazing week! I am loving the roots 707 so far just for the pure fact that i don't have to water as much as coco based medium and the babies look so happy! All stretch has stopped and they are now working on leaf production! All are growing at the same pace with a few outliers on both ends but i have a feeling all will catch up with LST. Definitely got some interesting growth i know i have a couple two leaflet strains wich is interesting!
Slight light burn on a couple plants had to raise the LED. On the off week Light seems to be allot more effective at civering the space although the plants did not take well to the spectrum/heat adjustment so the first two days i had to ween the light on a couple hours at a time. I could tell when they needed a break because they woukd physically get droopy once they got over whelmed eventually they got used to it tho!
Noticed what looks like to me a little nitrogen deficiency so started feeding biogrow at 2ml
2nd week with the new lights and they seem to enjoying it although space is getting very tight in my closet! Going to need to migrate to tent sooner then later
Finally moved into tent!
Still noticing some weird discoloration/ shriveling and dying of lower leaves. Thinking it could be a ph issue going to start aiming for 6.3-4
Also had a little bit of a crazy fungus knat bloom so maybe they could be affecting my root zone more then i realize going to spray them with some more neem oil and see how they do
Need to transplant into 2 gal
Looking allot better this week! Going to keep the ph a little hogher tward 6.4 also finally got all the males out and everything sexed so i am ready for transplant!
I have 6 females from each of the 12 seeds popped from each strain! Great ratio
Still have a pretty bad knat infestation after a couple of sprays and i also read neem oil negatively affects microbes in the soil so im going to swich back to grow safe a brand i have used before and i know will work in 2-3 sprays max
Dont know why i only have a video but Double Ds are just about hitting 23 with the tallest of the 6 and the DD is about 18 inches at the tallest of the 6
Knats seem to be 100% gone pkants are looking amazing definitely getting to the point of needing water everyday tho so transplant before next update is a must! Going into 2gal
Fun week! Got to transplant all the babies and i started lst on them to get some more lateral growth and better yeilds!
No problems when transplanting roots looked good, you could tell that some had way more roots then others not sure if thats due to light positions or if its just genetics
Its interesting because as far as general growth the Chocolate Marshmallow has was more internodal growth and branching, shorter plants but also trained very easily. As in stems where not too stiff but stiff enough that after the first trainung they pretty much stayed in place with minor adjustments needed the Double Ds on the other hand grew very tall with little to no horizontal growth and very large internodal spacing! And as far as training goes these stems where stiff and rock hard had a couple LST turn into HST or slight super cropping because i was a little too aggressive too quick!
One DD had a top half snap practically all the way off but i just taped it up and lst the plant to lean into the break and it is doing just fine!
Great week all seemed to recover from transplant and lst! With new growth coming in
No more signs of any knats either wich is awesome hopefully thats gone.
Trying to keeping main branches at 10inches so i just lst them as needed
DDS are way more resilient when it comes to training choco i dint have ti adjust much or many
Week seemed to be going well i keep having to retrain back down to to 10-9inches couple more stem fractures going to tape up. Its mainly on the DDs not the chocolate. Responding well to training gaining 2-3 on the lateral growth
Good week same as last time couple more tears, some more major then others. But the original first snap seems to be healed so im confident with tapping they would heal fast.
Going to be cutting for clones because i want to flip into flower ASAP going ti transplant into 5gallon first. Also ordering a new LED. Amazon led did okay for the budget but its time to see what i can really do! Very excited 🤠
Lotss of updates! Got a decent commercial LED 600w so just about same wattage as my last three lights but way more coverage and light penetration🙏 I dont have the dimmer so that might be needed as the babies get taller!
Ended up cutting about 6 clones from each plant. Just going to wait for a little recovery then im transplanting into 5 gallon for flower!
Another eventful week! Transplanted into 5 gallong pots. Its interesting to see that there hasnt been much vertical growth but allot of branchung out compared to how it was with the other lights
Bomb week!! All pictures/ video was takken on day 9 and i gotta say its looking wild. I Didnt expect them both to start growing so crazy. Lst really seemed to help some of these just explode with tops.
I feel like compared to my first indoor run these are like a week ahead, as far flowering goes. Wich is also interesting because Double Ds can go for 9-10 weeks! Cant wait to see how these babies do there thang
One problem actually i found a little bit of aphids nothing crazy but im going to continue using the growsafe insecticide/fungicide/pesticides.
Day 15 of flower! Kinda goofed this week i gave the babies week two nutes after the last post wich was like day 10 and i noticed a little bit of nitrogen over dose. I think the Powersi is also helping nutrients absorption! So i actually did this week a little different then i planned just cut the bio bloom in half because i didnt realize the powersi npk ratio inceases p and k
Havent seen anymore aphids might do another couple sprays to be safe. Grow safe allows full spray through flower
Major defoliation/ lollipoping that happened this week right on day 20 my main concern was looking for more hermies (due to stem cracks from lst) and also cut out any lower branches that where going to make larfy buds.
I only cut up the branches untill the point that the budsites where at least a nice pistil cluster (10and up ) some branches got a good 6-7 inches shaved off some more like 2-3 just depends on the plant with so much variety. Also my plants are like touching the lights it just wont let me mark less then 4inches i have the ability to raise my light another 2inches so i will definitely be doing that. For now i have the taller branches off to the sides so the can outgrow the light without burning.
Smells finally starting to come in with more gassy earth coming from DD and devine chocolate GG4 smell coming from the mellows
Still see some nitrogen toxicity not sure if should cut all nutes in half considerIng week three biogrow increases to 3ml/L
Still see nitrogen toxicity so im going cut biogrow down to half dose and see how it goes! Besides that all looks well
Smells are stepping it up in a couple pheno!
On the Chocolate Marshmallow side we have a intense sour fruity pebbles on a pheno that is just unreal
And on the double d side we have some rotten tooth chem smells coming through!
About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L
So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing
Day 53
I dont know how i skipped a whole week? But it happens
Plants are looking a little rough, i flushed 2-3 times with just greatwhite and water. Its weird because they got yellow so fast but the tips still look clawed im some spots so im scared to go back to full feed. Slowly added 1ml bioheaven and alga mic then 2ml/l bioheaven and alga mic. Tryingnto get back up to normal feeding
Just about up to normal feeding, some leaves are starting to get green back some not so much!
tricombs are start to turn milky in allot of the chocolate marhsmellow and actually a couple of the DD i might me able to harvest both at the same time
Smell is absolutely insane i can smell it around the corner from my apartment 😅
Day 74 and there getting chopped today! I thought the harvest was going to be broken into two separate weeks considering the times on the Choco was listed about 7-10 days sooner then the DD (wich was listed at 70 days for flowering)
However looking at the tricombs on the Chocolate Marshmallow most pheno didnt start getting amber untill the DDs did as well! A couple DD pheno could have maybe gone a couple more days but we will see!
Going for reveg on all the pheno, since i didnt get to take any clones. We will see how it goes!
