I germinated 4 blue dream, 3 white rhino, and 1 monster daddy seeds. All seeds came from Nuke Heads and I was very pleased to see every seed popping within 24 hours.
They are very small but on day two i removed the low intensity lights out and turned on the Bloom plus 2500 led on. I have a fan the runs on the bottom of the tent all the time and the carbon filter turns on automatically on the hour for 15 mins. Will look at the roots and when they are ready i will move them into a 2.5 gallon bucket. I am starting the cali mag and flora series nuts this week too.
Since I missed the majority of the veg phase I posted some of the pictures as they matured. Once they had 6 nodes I topped and fimmed, they exploded with growth. I tied the stem down to get a nice canopy.
The website was down and I forgot to check back.. but the pants are going strong at about 7-8 weeks of veg from seed. The two blue dream ladies are the bigger than the white rhino or the monster daddy. I had to give away one of the white rhinos away due to space issues. I am currently adding hours of darkness until I get to 12 hours and start the flowering process. That should happen this week sometime.
I flipped the plants to flower and in a 12 hour light and dark routine. I have put up the trellis net to improve the canopy. I have dropped the nitrogen slowly a little bit and added bloom in its place.
Pretty chill week, looks like the buds will begin to really form next week. I’ll keep the nuts up, the blue dream has been nitrogen heavy since the beginning.
It’s very nice to see all the tops coming along well but these plants are just flyin to the sky. I’m about 5 inches from my exhaust fan and filter but I have slowly moving them up. I did place a fan in the back of the grow and it had a blue power light that I didn’t see until last night so I taped with electric tape. They shot up 6 inches the next night and it’s way to crowded in the tent haha if only I had another tent!!
I tried to take off a good amount of the bigger fan leaves and get more light to the flowering sites. I upped the bloom as well.
I really messed up by pushing the amount of plants and their size for this grow. A real lack of room I would have been screwed if I topped and fimed them any more. I wanted room for a floor fan and a co2 bag but it didn’t happen this grow. Three plants without the net would have worked much better of just two with the net with more training.
We got a bunch of rain this week and had to buy a dehumidifier to keep the hm under 50%. Ain’t got time for any mold!
The girls are looking pretty sexy tho.. I ordered a loupe cuz the magnifying glass doesn’t have enough power to see the tris. I posted some of the pics just to show it but will update new ones next week.
It’s a delight to watch these girls grow bigger each week..can’t wait to chop em down and try out the smoke. The dispensary around here blow and overcharging.
I harvested the tops of the biggest branches, the indica girls were ripping much fast so I cut the top foot off but I didn’t rush it. The bottom flowers need more time to mature and will put on more weight. I started the flush earlier this week with just phed water and used florakleen today. Should have the rest of the plants harvested within the next two weeks. I was gonna try to get a few clones off blue dream from the lowest branches. I’d be down to run the entire tent with that strain next time.
I'm in week 11 of my first grow ever and it's this strain and I really wanted to have something to compare my progress with. Mine are on track to do as well ( or slightly less) as yours are. I would be amazed if that's the case. I know I made mistakes, basically let them grow wild so to speak with minimal real knowledge of a nutrient schedule or ppm measures, no topping, training, or supporting anything so far. It being my first time I was just trying out my new toys reall ( tent, light, and seeds i purchased with my stimulus ya know.). I haven't posted a diary for that grow but have started a new one with 4 strains I plan to track on here. Nice job and thank you for sharing it with us, I appreciate it. Good luck on your harvest I am anxious to see what comes.
