03/01 - Seeds planted directly in Root Riots kept under a plastic dome
08/01 - Gorilla Zkittlez germinated and popped out
08/01 - Purple Punch germinated and popped out
10/01 - Skywalker OG germinated and creeped out
10/01 - Watered with seedling strength nutes again to ensure the coco was properly charged. Will probably be watering with lower amounts of pHed water for the remainder of the week.
19/01 : Both the Gorilla Skittlez and Purple Punch are growing nicely but the Skywalker OG seems to have been stunt.
So far, it has received exactly the same treatment as the two others. It will be watered a bit less than the two others as the only thing I can think off (besides the fact that the seed looked small and light in colour in comparison to the two others) is overwatering.
I am wondering if the Skywalker OG may have been overwatered or if i have just been unlucky with the seed (or anything else?)
Any advise on what I should be doing differently?
Don't worry...she is looking good...i would only put the plant deeper in the soil.
it looks nice, sometimes at the first week they take a little more.
but so far good job mate
04/02 - Pretty much given hope of the Skywalker OG Auto and have left it aside to see if it will come back to life
Focusing on the two remaining plants which are growing nicely albeit a slight discoloration of some leaves. Could be slight overfeeding (Nitrogen) or a pH issue (measured my runoff at around 6.5) to be corrected with upcoming waterings
Discolouration no longer happening on new leaves after lowering the pH of the nutrient water (aiming for 5.8 instead of 6.2).
Regular watering done with RO water which is not pHed
Purple Punch drooping due to pH issue - Coco is buffered to 6.5 - nutrient water's pH lowered to 5.5 consistently to balance it out
Gorilla Skittlez has some dark spots appearing on the more exposed leaves - due to a CalMag efficiency - dosage increased.
Purple punch looks much better following the pH correction.
My fan fell of a side bar and crashed onto the Purple Punch causing two branches to break at the base. Both were hanging by a thread; have pushed them back holding them in place with tape.
Increasing the CalMag dosage and including at every watering has stopped additional brown spots appearing on the leaves of the Gorilla Skittlez and some have actually disappeared "healed". Lots of the top leaves remain permanently yellow unfortunately
