Leaves have started to curl up on day 5 and down look that healthy, so I have lowered the water level, raised the ph to 5 and doubled the distance to the lamps, did I do the right thing?

Your pH should be at least 6. Otherwise, you were right on with fixing the problem.

It's my first time grow ever, so would you say it is advisable to do that and when is a good time to do so? Also she already seems to be stressed by my borderline abusing care 😅

Hello, no don’t top it yet, you should only top when you have 5-6 nodes then you top on the 5 or 4, but be careful cause you can damage your plant. Also I thin your plant is underwater, that’s why the leafes are curling, be careful and let the top dry. Careful too to not put your light to close to the plant. Good luck!

Despite of same conditions with a parallel grow (Lemon Auto of Seedsman) she isn't recovering well, what should I do different or am I just having bad luck with her?

Hi Mate,
Different strains, different needs. You always have a good Chance to not to feed both Lasies properly with the same feeding solution. I'm no Hydro Pro, but your Damsel looks like it's overwatered, when you have too less oxygen at the root-zone.
Maybe the light is too strong for this one. That's also a possibility I would think of.
17cm to a 300w light is way too close IMHO...

Throw an aquarium bubbler into your reservoir to add oxygen.
I think you can increase your ppm's in the feed also.

Yep, there is a water and air pump running the reservoir
I am hesitant to change the nutrients too much right now, I have fd things up with following the Hesi schedule
Both my plants seem to had too much nitrogen because of that and it seems as Pink Kush doesn't like that at all
Also I had to keep some nutritious solution separately because water level was too high, today I finally added that back to the reservoir
I'm waiting for the Lemon to go into flowering (or any plant starts complaining) before changing the water and give them a new set of nutrients 😁
