Planted on December 1st, topped yesterday above the first set of five-fingered leaves in prep of 4-way LST. Compact indica stature. Hoping to see purple frostiness in her future. Cheers!
With this LST completed, I’ll now incorporate silica into her nutes to strengthen those stems.
Purple striped stems can in some situations be a sign of deficiency, but in this girl’s case I really do think she’s just strongly expressing her purple genetics. I take this as a good sign of things to come.
Now I’ll let her grow out for about a week and then I’ll be topping her once more. Cheers all
Topped, waited two days, LST’d and will now give her probably 1-2 weeks before flowering. Upped nutes a bit since they’ve been asking for it, super easy to read the plants and respond with hydro. Cheers
Growth starting to pick up the pace, strain showing more potential by the day. Not sure if I can successfully LST the Cali Orange beside her down to keep it an even canopy but hey, that’s what you risk when you grow a 50/50 hybrid next to an indica dom. All in all looking healthy with no problems in sight, I may leave her one more week before switching to 12/12. cheers
Update: had to give a bit of a flush with ph’d water halfway through the week due to salt buildup, this can sneak up on you in soilless mediums so I’d recommend monitoring your runoff ppm for sure. It’s just way too easy to overfeed with salts.
Going to be an interesting week for the girls. Switching to 12/12, switching bulbs next week, and keeping nutes at only what they need, and no more. The purple looks very healthy so I’m hoping for a good flower out of her, but only time will tell. Cheers
Drainage got clogged, resulting in flooding for this girl mid last week :(. Left her droopy from which she’s still recovering, decided to pretty much hold off on Defol for her for now. Nonetheless, we forge on. Cheers
This bushy plant has developed many good colas after its two rounds of topping. Some genetic expression mixed with a bit of stress has resulted in her not stretching much and staying squat and bush-like. I can smell the terpenes beginning to develop. Probably will give it a defol this week if not next. Cheers
Dealt with advanced nitrogen defiency, definite grower error... Had to almost double the nute dose just to compensate. At least the flowers are all good, she should bounce back with luck. At least i saw a bit of purple genetics peak out of the leaves. Cheers
Strong sweet smells exude from the tent, and this plant's buds are starting to really fatten up nicely. Leaves are starting to show some shades of purple, but I welcome it, as she's looking a lot better since I first noticed her N deficiency. Also throwing in a little bit of PK booster in my nutes, just for that mass. Overall going well, until next week, cheers
Flowers are growing quickly and frosting up, and the tent smells amazing. Switching out MPK for snow storm ultra this week for a little boost of growth and frostiness due to the alfalfa. Cheers
Starting a slow flush till harvest. Got some fungus gnats from my girl’s house plants, which isn’t ideal, but putting some sand over the wet coco to stop em. Plant is smelling and looking great, bit yellow on the top tho which I’m keeping an eye on. Cheers
These colas are fattening immensely, and I’m hoping they’ll come out with the density to match. The aroma of this tent can’t be beat. Week 2 of a 3 week flush to account for my hempy resevoir. Harvest can’t come soon enough, cheers.
Fat and frosty buds that smell like candy grape, now starting to fade and purple up. Hopefully chop on Monday before hang drying for two weeks before trimming. Cheers

Compared to a standard Indica strain like Platinum Kush, this strain is less dreamy and sedating, while being more so cerebral and relaxing. This could be an enjoyable aspect for recreational and medicinal use, as you can chill or get relief while being able to function. Nonetheless, I save it for nighttime. It is a step up in potency as well, but there are higher THC levels to be found in the market for sure.
Medicinal use: 4/5 - stress relief, depression, anxiety, appetite, body pain, Insomnia
-GENETICS-
Growth: 3/5 - Grew without major issues, but did have a close call with some serious N deficiency - needed more than usual in early to mid flowering.
Yield: 3/5 - Didn’t get too much weight from it, but could’ve prevented the larf that ended up going to trim instead.

Note: This review is subjective and reflects the overall rating of the results of this specific grow - however, well bred strains will always be at least five out of ten
If i had to guess i got the kush dominant pheno this time around. Got one seed left of AP, probably will grow it again down the line so let’s hope she’s a keeper.
