Germination

All seeds popped at 4.5 days. Today is actually 1 week since planted and 4 days since germination. Had a major catastrophe and flipped all the cups off the top of the rack about 2 days after they popped.😢 Fortunately, 4 of the seedlings roots were still in the bits of scant displaced dirt in the cups. 1 of the others was found in the pile of dirt at the back of the tent dumped from the cup. And I could not find the last 1 at all.😳 After re-potting seedlings and tending other veg ladies, maybe 15 minutes or so and as I was leaving the tent, there on the floor below the zipper was the 6th seedling. I don't know how I hadn't stepped on it. It wasn't showing negative signs, so I potted it back up.😌 Today, 4 days later it is fine. I'm not even sure which is which.

These poor seedlings have been through a trainwreck dealing with me. I have flipped 3 of them off the shelf onto floor and had to re-pot. 2 of those same ones have hit the floor a 2nd time even. In spite of this, these seedlings look great. My past seedlings I had re-potted by now, because being new to this, I had read how important it is not to allow roots to crowd, etc. Actually, I have read an incredible amount of info. Being a gardener/landscaper, I have decided to do what I think is best. In my first grow ever-SLH, 2 of the seedlings were left about 10 days longer in solo cups while waiting for dirt, and I feel those 2 plants did better throughout their life cycle than the others. In conclusion, I am leaving these girls in solos a few more days at least.

Have neglected these seedlings this past week. Should have transplanted from solos into pots sometime in the last 2 weeks and have yet to do so. That's my big plans for the day is to get them out of the solos and into the bigger veg tent. WooHoo! Can hardly wait now that I've gotten through a grow. Will post pics later when finished. Probably will top today, not thinking they will be ready for any bondage yet. (Old pic so I could go ahead and start this diary this morning.)

1/31/21--I'm 10 days longer getting these girls transplanted than I wanted. They all had quite a root base. Several differences in the different plants as before. 4 are taller and shapely, 1 is short and bushy 1 is small and sad looking. I think it really needed some water. I got them all in 3 g pots. I put them as deep as I felt I could in their new pots. Got them setup in the veg tent. I was taking video today, so these are screen shots from the video. 2/1/21--what a difference a night in a new pot makes. Had to add pics. I don't even know which one was the sad looking one. Leaf discoloration caused from PH imbalance. There was a couple of times these seeds needed water and I wasn't prepared and watered without testing PH.

2/7--As I said before, these girls stayed longer in the solos than I would have liked. A few are a bit taller than I would like for not having started training yet. I went ahead and tied down a couple of them today. (I use "gardener's string", any other string is not recommended for plants) Removed a few fan leaves. They are looking really good. Went ahead and watered/fed this morning too. These girls already have a fairly strong odor. 2/10--These girls grow really fast. They are doing fantastic. Very odorous. Started tying them down to get their training started. They are taking to it very well.

2/15/21--started tying down these girls. They seem to like it.😜 They are growing like crazy. These girls have been very healthy and aggressive from day one. Pretty pungent.🙀 2/17/21--adjusted ties. These girls are aggressive growers. So exciting.

Incredible how fast these girls are growing. Very bushy. They have a very strong odor. They are coming along very nicely. Looking forward to checking out this smoke. (4 weeks in veg tent...Left these girls too long in seed/clone tent, so they're a little behind on upper growth. Not worried about them. I like to veg longer anyway. )

Check-in day for the week. These girls are pre-flowering. I've been having trouble with downloading pics from my device to my computer. Will work on that tomorrow and fill this out better. Wanted to upload something here today. Can you say....a-g-g-r-e-s-s-i-v-e...whew, these girls got their Grow ON! Still trying to get all my pics loaded. Got too many irons on the fire right now. Finally got all the pics loaded. I've decided I'm going to let these girls lead me in their training. They are such aggressive growers I'm not sure I want to have to keep up with rigid training. I would guess this strain would be excellent for SOG. Maybe I will try that with the next Trainwreck grow. Going to be flipping at least 4 girls this weekend. I may hold back a couple just to develop their limbs a bit better. We'll see.

Missed a week of checking in. I've been real busy with a business endeavor. The girls are looking good. So far all are showing female. Not doing as strict of training as I have done in the past. I've always tried to keep them under control for easier management. Going to let these girls grow a bit. I may be sorry with this Trainwreck strain, it is an aggressive grower.
