Defoliated big fan leaves covering lower growth, still undecided if I want to top her and create six main buds or just leave her at that... Growing quite fast. So far very happy with the potting soil from garden center Jack's magic, lots of sand in but plants loving it, I think it is the special seaweed they added.
I mixed in a hand full of worm castings too. s.
Very healthy and growing very stocky, almost no space between nodes, so side shoots on top of each others, will switch to flowering mid week after i change her into a 10/15l container.
Interesting shot of her leaf taken with mini microscope already show some trichomes! Looks promising! Will take 2 or 3 cuttings in case she is a keeper.
Started flowering on 29th of March, very healthy and hoping she stretches more because very tight nodes and difficult for space and leaves shadows are all over, I do not want to remove those so I tuck them as best I can. Added few handful of guano and worm cast to her last transplant in 16l smart pot. Will be fed and those and added when needed on top of soil.
Finger's crossed
She started to stretch a bit will top dress tomorrow with guano and handful of worm casts. Plants are very happy and from now on will use worm casts every grow!
Started to transform into a flowering lady, already trichomes in production on new fan leaves, not smelling yet.
Very healthy, I can say I am very happy with worm casts and guano, the soil Jack's magic is very adequate, I am so sure now that worm castings and seaweed is very good for veg, let's see what guano can do to flowering!
This morning was tidying up the grow room and the ladies I spotted a weird stem developing at the base of stem, I looked closer and oh horror I automatically remembered that I tied her side shoots to main stem month ago so as to better receive light but I forgotten it and now poor Vanilla was growing her stem on top of thread and creating a huge bulbous stem.... The thread between side shoots and stem was so tight it must have been really strange for her, but she did not show any side effects from this bondage, just less stretch I guess but she seemed not bothered at all! She is a true bondage queen!
This week nothing to do but water and admire her, very pretty lady and very vigorous breed, not smelling much yet just sweet cannabis tone. During those firs few weeks of flowering she did not stretch much, I guess indica factor and the badly made lst are the causes....
Such strong little plant, she literally absorbed the line I used to bend her down with!
Very healthy still, only some older fan leaves are starting to die back slowly but surely... She is fattening up and producing many trichomes, very pretty and strong! I love her!
She is such a pleasure to grow, easy and not fussy.
Added a handful of bat guano and worm casts for the last time. She is releasing a strong odora especially before lights off, she has a narcotic smell, skunky and afghani no vanilla so far.
Little NILLA is finishing her maturation slowly but surely, I am sure the bad bending and absorbing of the cord did slow her down, I cannot afford to do this mistake again, no more noob mistakes shall we? Hehehe
Still she is very pretty and I can see tonnes of potential, chunky sticky buds with a strong narcotic smell and good appearance, I took some cuttings and I will take good care of her next time and get to know her better without torturing her!
Hello! I will be harvesting in few days and I can say she was a pleasure to grow and I am amazed she still flower not too bad even if she was slowly strangled on main and side shoots except the lowest buds who grew on the only side shoots without restricted uptake and you can see it!
Next time I am sure she will grow a bit bigger without this torture I inflicted to her straight from the beginning of flowering!
,she is turning yellow and some red fade colours too, I am sure I could give her one more week but I cannot wait any longer so soon she will be harvested... Next time maybe I will let her finish properly too! 😁❤️
Very resilient strain, beautiful and roduces good amount of buds. Best for hash making due to high ratio of big leaves covered with trichomes! Lost some of my harvest pics sadly...
I recommend this strain for hash or extract making. Takes on beautiful shade when in fall mode.
