GrowCNanswered grow question 2 years ago I have been growing both indoors and outside for decades. All types of plants, trees, flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables and I have never had plants damaged by the lens affect. I water outside in the hottest summer sun with no ill affect. Theoretically I understand how it could happen but when you consider that plants all over the planet exist with full sun and water on their leaves and receive no damage it's pretty clear that it's not really an issue. I think spot burning is more possible when applying treatments whether it be fertilizer, herbicides or pesticides where there are chemicals that can burn the plant.
