What are some key differences in photos vs autos when it comes to quality and yield and time to harvest? And can you do a tent full of different auto strains? I was under the impression that autos can end up smaller but there’s some really insane looking autos on this website

Autos are smaller due to their limited veg time. You can grow as many different auto strains in one grow, no problems. Photos are better for beginners as they can be controlled better, that is, when to flower them.............only once you are satisfied with their size. Autos use a lot more electricity and are better suited for experienced growers with top shelf equipment. Photos have decades of development and are generally more potent and definitely, more stable genetically. I have been growing for 40 odd years now and tried autos for 3-4 years and will never grow them again. For me, autos have absolutely nothing to offer over what can already be achieved with photoperiod plants.

The main difference is you can grow a photo to your preferred size by controlling when it goes into flower . I have four different strains of auto in my 4x4 currently and it’s easy as to manage if not a bit crowded, you can get around 8-12 ounces off each auto 12 weeks from seed when you LST them so the yields are pretty good .
