Does anybody know if this spider will eat my plant...

spiders are predators, they eat other bugs and pests coming to your plant, I would not worry about it unless you are an arachnophobe.... and if thats the case worry, as its likely trying to crawl in your mouth at night where its warm and moist, they like warm and most areas.

It looks like a small orb weaver of some sort. She won't do any damage to your plant and the web should stay relatively tidy. If she gets a bit messy, you can just move her. Spiderweb in your flower isn't something I'd worry about, they don't like walking on the trichomes, so it's mostly on the tips of the leaves that you'll trim off anyway.

Spiders are your friends outdoors. They will not harm your plants in any way and actually protect them against nasty bugs. The webs they make are not an issue and they won't make them on the flowers or buds due to the fact that spiders hate sticky trichomes! Think yourself lucky that this spider likes your plants, it is a good sign that the plants must be healthy!
