Non-Auto autoflowering followup: question answers

Use your DM's little green paper airplane icon in the lower right hand corner of the page to message users. They used to let the person reply to their own questions, but then some users used this to gain points in a contest that goes on about answering questions. so they removed the ability. I think it was dumb. Just don't allow you to pick your own answer as a solution and its solved or don't let it count towards a point. Sometimes extra information is needed as they limit the amount of charters a questions can be. One other thing to note on this part of the site, when you use Tags like @user, they will not be notified of anything. they just don't work here its like a no mans land of zero reception for regular site services. I don't know why this is, but its always been like that.

Why not just post another question with clear language about what the actual issue is?

Yeah, this site is pretty terrible for any kind of discussion... Excellent for diaries though.

Yeah, private messages are probably the best way, or you can just repost the question in a new one with a response.
