Hi everyone, I have a small question. Does it make sense to hang the LED lamp at a distance of about 80 cm and set it to about 80% power in the first two weeks of flowering so that the ladies grow taller?

This depends on your lamp and the specifications provided by the manufacturer. During the seedling/clone phase, you should use a PPFD value of 150, and during the early vegetative stage, 300. I personally always recommend adjusting the height and intensity of the lamp using a PPFD meter or according to the manufacturer's specifications. In my case, the lamp is hanging just 10–15 cm above the plants, but at 60% intensity or less.

80 cm is a great height for your light, however 80% power of that light could be way too much DLI for the seedling. You only need about 15-20 DLI on a seedling for the first couple of weeks, then gradually increase it as the plant grows. Some plants are more sensitive than others at a young stage and blasting them with light without controlling the VPD can be very harmful. Can they take it, sure, but it’s much easier to slowly adapt them into intense lighting. You’ll like the results much better.
