m0useanswered grow question 19 hours ago Its ok, Pistils can brown from a few things, damage, wind burn, touching them. when they pollinate just the tips tend to brown and its not normally just single ones but pockets of pistils.
The little bits are just single female flowers called Calyx, male balls/sacks don't have a pistil coming out of them and they are not frosty, they hang off the plant by a small stem and are coco pod shaped, or football . Calyx grow up and are part of it with no stem and have a tear drop shape.
