I have grown this variety from Crop King Seeds three times now, and this is the first time I came up with such a beautiful purple plant. She's absolutely beautiful.

I planted her late in the season and put her directly into the dirt in my back yard. I didn't top her, or use any nutrients. She grew wild and au natural. She tolerated cold temperatures, damp rainy conditions, and also hot dry weeks. She grew like a weed... all on her own.

The flavours are earthy and pungent, and the vibe is a relaxing body stone. It's my all time favourite weed for chilling after a busy day at work etc. No munchies. Just good feels.

This variety was super easy to grow and she survived all kinds of neglect and hardship LOL. I topped her and stuck her in the garden and then I ignored her for the most part... until I saw how amazing her flowers turned out. She took a long time to mature though, and we live in Ontario with a very short growing season. I'm not sure this is the right growing zone for this variety. She would have liked more time to ripen up before the frost and fall wind and rain would overtake the sun and warm weather. However... she survived strong winds... and even some broken and duct taped limbs :)

I started this plant indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! I hardened her off over the last week of April, and then put her in the garden during the first week of May. I didn't offer her any additional nutrients, except the compost mix that was in our spring garden soil top up. I watered her with a slow drip irrigation hose which I left on over night once a week or so depending on the summer heat.

The buzz from vaping BlackJack is energizing and the flavour is citrus and yum! This plant delivers as advertised. Good work Nirvana Seeds Co.

This strain is amazingly easy to grow and offers substantial yield. The plants were robust, tall (7-8 feet) and the top colas were heavy and sticky. The rest of the plant was also full of flowers... and almost all of them fattened up nicely. It's fun to harvest a huge plant like that when there is very little 'popcorn' to deal with. The FFT3 was ripe and ready after only 8 weeks of flowering which is absolutely perfect for growing in the North. Only my fast flowering strains were harvested before the first frost advisory came out. If I have my choice, I would grow the fast buds fast flowering genetics on an exclusive basis. Not kidding.

I topped one plant and let the other plant grow wild. Both were organic grows with no added plant foods etc. Her leaves were dense and a nice dark shade of green. The flowers were fat and sticky. They took a bit longer than the other varieties to dry completely. The smoke report is a tiny bit disappointing: it's not a super fun variety in my opinion. It's really mild and not strong at all, it's not even strong enough to put me to sleep. I suppose it could be a good wake-n-bake strain... but that's not really what I'm looking for. The flavour is amazing though! There is nothing dank or cheesy about this one at all. It's all sugar and berries. It's a good strain for folks that don't like to be punched in the face by their smoke, or that like to maintain control of the high... maybe it would be a good beginners strain.

In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! I hardened her off over the last week of April, and then put her in the garden during the first week of May.

This variety was easy to grow and despite all of my neglect she shot to the highest reaches of my grow trellis... she was long and tall and not dense at all. The majority of her flowers were in her top colas. I didn't top her, and I didn't give her nutrients. It was an organic natural grow. She had the lowest yield of the three FFTs I've harvested... but at 329g dry how can I complain!?

She was a week later than the other varieties before full maturity... seemed to take forever. But when she went frosty, she ripened very quickly... like over night almost.

The plant smells lovely like lemon. The buzz is energetic and fun... not a sleepy-time variety at all. Njaak has been chit chatting nerding out totally about camping knives ever since we vaped... so talkative goes on the list. And I'm laughing at him so giggle goes on the list too :P. Now he's laughing at me for actually writing that down LOL. What fun!! I will recommend this to my friends, for sure :)

I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL.

It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size.

The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.'

Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this.

Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds.

We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one.

The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

This is our new favourite variety!! It took a long time to find a variety that I prefer over Purple Kush (did I even say that out loud?). The plant was easy to grow with respectable yield, and a quick flowering time. She did suffer some light burn, but this doesn't seem to have had a bad affect on the finished product. She is a resilient variety based on my experience. Overall this was an easy growing plant, with an average yield, but an amazingly fun body and mind buzz that starts out a bit energetic and then fades to a super relaxing stoned feeling.

This is an easy variety to grow. She was very fast from seed to harvest. Her flavour is one of my personal favourites... pine and lemon and sweet. The buds are frosty with lots of amber. The yield was good in spite of the fact that I took her down a bit early to avoid any chance of couch lock. This harvest results in bud with an energetic and fun high along with a fun body stone. It's a creeper too. You don't notice at first but then it settles in nicely. I will grow this one again. I think on my next plant I'll let her ripen up a week more to tap into the body stoned aspects of the variety.

I found this seed in bud that I harvested from my Barney's Liberty Haze plant. It was grown in my grow room and you can see my GrowDiray log of that plant. I am not sure exactly how I ended up with seeds... maybe there was light or temperature stress which resulted in a herm. In any case, I decided to grow this seed as a fun experiment. I didn't even know if the seed would germinate... but it grew just FINE. I didn't top it, or give it any special treatment. I guess you could say she grew 'native' or 'au naturel.' I have never grown outside before, but I had space in the garden, and the seedling looked healthy, so I hardened her off and popped her into the dirt. She ended up going into a huge monster of a plant. Standing over 9 feet tall I had to laugh out loud each time I climbed the ladder to inspect her top cola LOL. I had so much fun growing this plant.

I called her Majestic Haze (we live on Majestic Drive) because I'm not sure if Barney's would want me calling her Liberty Haze. I can't verify the genetics for sure :) I wonder how plant breeders handle those kinds of things??...

This bud is fun for parties and conversation. It starts out with an energetic vibe and then settles into a relaxed chill stoned feeling. We vaped our dried bud, and then we tried some of our hand rolled hash... then we settled in for the night. Woke up a sit high still LOL but it's Saturday and we don't need to go anywhere so it's all good LOL... This one is the bud of choice for house parties and silly Netflix watching. PS if you haven't see The Good Place... you need to get stoned and watch it.

The total dried weight of bud from this plant was just under one pound @310g and we also ended up with around 120g of frosty trim. We also rolled up about a gram of hash which has some serious kick :)

This plant was easy to grow. She got off to a slow start, but ended up producing a decent harvest. The yield was pretty average, but she was super easy to grow. I just set her outside and let her do her thing. I did a bit of LST but not that much... I have just germinated two more plants and will use SCROG this time. I think the plant genetics are good, and I would recommend this as a great variety to grow. We vaped some last night and it tastes like candy. For real. and the buzz is super fun! I had the munchies like a mofo which is the only downside as far as I"m concerned.

We love Barney's Critical Kush Auto. If you have trouble with insomnia or anxiety, this is the one for you. Of all the varieties we have grown, this is the very best for bed time. It's strong and completely relaxing. We like to vape, and it only takes two tokes, and three at the most, and that's the end of the story.

This one was a little bit more sensitive than other strains I have grown. She needed a bit of extra TLC; lower nutrient concentrations, a bit of cal/mag sensitivity was noted on a second plant that I grew alongside this (but she wasn't included in the diary. Not sure if it was because the seeds were past their prime, or if I didn't get a good soil mix... but she smells oh so good. And the yield turn out just fine. As long as you pay good attention, you can adjust as needed.

This strain was easy to grow. Not sure what happened during the stretch tho... it looked spindly and seemed sparsely flowered even after maturity. It's possible I was too aggressive with defoliation. I'm growing more of this, so I'll see how the next cohort turns out. I'll try the bud in my vape tonight and then I'll come back with more info :) It was good fun. More of a day time variety, and it made me hungry!

She grew well and was super easy to care for. Loads of bud sites, resulting in nice frosty flowers and sugar leaves. I tested the wet bud in the vape and it was sweet and tasty. I'll check back in once I have it properly dried and cured. Now that I have cured and vaped this one I can tell you it's super duper fun! Effects are fun and amorous (they should have a proper category for amorous)... but she gives you the most insane munchies! Like I wanna make out and eat the ENTIRE fridge in one go. :)

Two thumbs up.
