I haven't had a chance to go outside to check on my plants in a few weeks, but after doing so this week, I had to chop them all early. They were getting some powdery mildew on lower leaves, and the rest of the leaves were depleted of color, drooping, and falling off (not senescence), telling me the soil and very little rain this year was not ideal. It's okay though. This was the last year I intended to do photoperiods outdoors. Actually, last year was, marking 20 years, but my indoor game was not down yet. So 21 years it is. I will still be doing some autoflowers outdoor next year, as they are the only ones that do good in my climate -- it gets very cold too early, and I don't have the patience to do any light deprivation techniques. Additionally, it is always close to 100% humidity in mid-late summer, which is far from ideal. I didn't take any pictures before the harvest out of disappointment, but if any of the bud turns out to be decent after drying, I'll update this harvest report. The picture below is from a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately, I got really unlucky and this feminized seed turned out to be a male. This is only the second time in over 20 years this happened, but it's possible. This is not a hermaphrodite, but a pure male. So, I chopped her down and I'm starting over. I gave the strain a neutral rating because I don't want to blame anyone except bad luck.

We chopped this after 9 weeks and 2 days of flowering, despite only documenting 8 weeks here. We had some potassium issues early in flower, but was quickly remedied with a drench. She is a very heavy Potassium feeder compared to other plants I've grown. She finished beautifully though, a decent yield with dense nuggets that smell like sour fruit, and barely any larf.

First time trying this light, and I'm certainly impressed. This is my new favorite panel-style quantum board for a 3x3ft tent.

I ended up harvesting this small plant at the end of week 8, because it looked ready. I hung it in my garage and air dried it for 4 days, as I didn't want to risk cabbage loopers getting in my house and infesting my grow room (they will find it), like last year. We have cured it for about 2 weeks, and it is more than ready for consumption now. It has a nice rose color as advertised, and retained some of that through the curing. It was a fun to grow strain that was resistant to cabbage loopers and other pests, unlike most of my other plants outdoors. It also finished very quickly. This plant doesn't yield very much, but I think it would do excellent in a SoG indoor sometime. I'd grow it again for sure.

This diary is over. What I believe to be septoria swept over the whole solo cup garden this plant was sharing a tent with, except for this plant. It has good resistance, but that's just from sight. You never know. On top of that, another plant, pollinated everything in the tent today. It had a single anther split open when I checked it after I noticed large seeds in all of the 7 plants, this one included. Hermed on me. I think this was a sign to stop the grow early. I wasn't going to smoke any of it anyway, as the pathogen spread quickly, and I can't ever be too safe. No harm. Time to spray things down and start anew.

This light runs a little hotter than the larger/higher wattage S33. Getting a replacement, but wow does it run hot. Maybe a fluke. Will review the next one with the next harvest and see.
