Grow Journal – Week 4: Solid, Smooth, Silky Week 4 is here and it’s been a solid, smooth, and silky ride! The OG Kush (OGK) and Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) are officially a month old, while the younger trio—AK, Super Lemon Haze (SLH), and Moon Beam (MB)—are at the 2-week mark. And let me tell you, things are popping off! OG Kush (OGK) OGK is bouncing back beautifully from the topping I did last week. She went from one main stem to two strong, sturdy branches, and I’ve been LST'ing them to shape the structure. Originally, I topped her thinking she was stunted—I almost gave up on her. But man, I’m glad I stuck it out. She's looking really solid now. I gave her a top dress of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom (since she’s been in soil about 30 days), and backfilled the pot since it was a little light on soil. Also did a light trim to remove some oversized fan leaves. Overall? She’s thriving. Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) Rilla Z is going crazy right now—straight beast mode. I did some LST and a bit of defoliation; her fan leaves were huge! She’s already throwing out white hairs, so flowering is definitely around the corner. Like OGK, I top dressed and backfilled her too. She’s officially in late veg/early flower, and everything’s looking fire. Super Lemon Haze (SLH), Moon Beam (MB), and AK The babies have exploded in growth this week. I transplanted all three from their 16 oz cups into 1-gallon pots. Used some Great White mycorrhizal fungi during transplant and wow—they LOVED it. The roots were wrapping all around the cup walls. Honestly, they’re almost as big as my older plants already. It's wild. All that stuff I learned from OGK and Rilla Z? I'm applying it now and it's clearly paying off. Temps and VPD are dialed in, and they’re thriving. SLH SLH shot straight up. It’s like a pure rocket. I’m debating whether to leave her be or bend her slightly for some LST. Either way, she’s got serious potential. MB For a seed that was cracked when I got it, MB is blowing past expectations. It’s outgrowing both AK and OGK at that stage. Like SLH, I’m thinking of just letting it grow upright with maybe some minor bends to shape the canopy. I'm really embracing the “less is more” vibe on this one. She’s been super easy so far. AK This one is giving me serious OGK vibes. She’s a little behind the others, but so was OGK—look how that turned out! I’m planning to top her in about a week. Something about topping small plants just feels right to me. Let’s see if she responds like her older sister. Reflections: Month One in the Books One full month of growing and wow—I’ve learned so much. And just to be clear—I still have no idea what I’m doing! 😅 I’m figuring it out day by day, learning from mistakes, soaking in content from YouTube and my favorite creators, and just putting in the work. Everyone says “plants just need soil, water, and light,” but if you dial in your environment and care, the rewards are next level—or so I’ve heard. These are all autoflowers, so it’s a race against time. I’m really just trying to keep up with what they need and ride it out to the finish line. Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts. bueno se hizo una por primera vez una cosecha por partes, como indicamos en el post anterior, se cosecho los cogollos donde la luz pegaba mas al parecer y estaban mas desarrollados, la cosecha fue con tricomas blancos tendiendo a transparentes con pocos ambar, en opinion ya luego de una semanas y una segunda cosecha, es que cosechamos pronto por temor al pasarnos al ser primera vez, entonces posiblemente nos apresuramos un poco ligeramente o confundimos los tricomas tendiendo a ser transparente por los blancos que es lo que indica la teoria el punto de corte, pero no nso quejamos quedo genial! subiremos el segundo punto de corte luego de 2 semanas . LAS ULTIMAS FOTOS LAS DE LAS 2 SEMANAS MAS 2DO CORTE.

day 44 - The growth process continues unabated. I am waiting for the desired size. 8 days after flowering it didn't grow as much as I thought it would, so we went back to the growing season. 👽 day 49 - I decided not to cut the leaves anymore after much defoliation. It easily tolerates strong stress easy to grow.

a few photos are missing, I was away:) To be honest, I've never had such a big automatic flower before, although the light intensity was really high all the days of its growth, it still went up ;) first experience with such a girl:) But she looks really good:) good luck to everyone:).

Added a Scrog net to try and get more light into the lower bud sites. AutoMazar is still looking droopy and her color is very weird, she’s also the shortest. Auto Ultimate is still the beast!! She’s building trichomes and Auto Daiquiri is super sticky and will be harvested first, she’s on all water from her on.

The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

big stretch to 10 inches this week. I am planning on translplanting them to 2 gallons next week to give the roots a chance to spread out and then to a 3 gallon.

Sono felice di queste varietà, impressionanti come si adattano ai cambiamenti climatici italiani e soprattutto resistono ai parassiti tipo afidi e lepidotteri. Sono tante piante,diverse varietà da 4 banche dei semi mondiali quindi descriverle tutte sarebbe assurdo. Ogni varietà cresce abbondantemente, iniziano tutte a riempirsi di infiorescenze resinose,profumate e abbastanza appiccicose alcune. Sono rimasto sorpreso per la dimensione di alcune varietà, sono tipo di taglia XXL e non si fermano, continuano ad allungarsi e ad allargarsi nonostante sono poco distanti una dall'altra. Sembra una piccola foresta di autofiorenti felici e con il caldo estivo in arrivo non faranno che migliorare! Prevedo tanta abbondanza di qualità! Complimenti a tutte le banche semi che ho scelto! everything turned out very well :) and it's only with 50w and with 40x40cm space :) It was an interesting journey with her, a slightly different cultivation and old mistakes were discovered :) the flowers are not dense, but they are really very, very sticky :) I'm happy:)

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Pollination is well underway. The ladies are prego and the seeds are developing very rapidly! A few of the first flowers to get hit have there flower bracts already torn open. Exposing the growing seeds(still very green and immature). They are coating there flowers with protective trichomes like crazy! Sucess. All three ladies I have in there are heavily seeded! Now I'm watching them work their magic. Producing me some new killer crosses to phenohunt. The male flowers have been dried and stored. I'm slowly sifting the pollen into a vile. Whenever I get a chance to play with pollen lmfao. I've only made a dent in my freezer bag supply. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

It's flush week in the main room for the girls I have kept back one gold glue the monster mbap and gwk they will be given longer as a bit behind This has been a smooth run can't wait to move the wilmas in to there new home more space efficient and feeding friendly The gold glue I will definatly run again and again lol one of my new favs This grape walker kush was neglected Unfortunatly but still turned out super frosty and stankkkkkkky the ones one my next run will have all my care and love Mbap great bud formation and size this is another strain to put in the vault to save for years to come ! 7 weeks later and she's flowering nicely, not too much verticle growth but the buds are getting bigger every day. Stoked! Nothing new, might make another compost tea up this week. I'm giving them 1L of water every 2nd day, 500mL top feed and 500mL bottom feed. Until next week friends, thanks for checking in.
