Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

I cannot wait to see how this beautiful Queen is going to look at te end of the flowering stage, she’s the closet I’ve came to LST in a manner I wanted this baby to grow, loving how brunches twirl around the twig, l have stopped growing Christmas tree shaped babies. I LST from the seedling phase right through to flowering, you should not forget that this plant can take stress, imagine it was growing in the wild, some stress in your plant’s lie is critical for positive growth, from my point of view my trees are going to struggle with big buds, because it does not have this thick stems.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Didn't stretch as much as she might have done which suits me. On target for plenty of compact buds. Taking the Shogun coco nutrient range like a champ. Only issue I've had is having to defoliate more times than I'd like.

Can't wait for each of them to finish out. Giving them hopefully their full amount of water, less with the auto as it was stunted by the 12/12.

Day 21 in the flower tent and I think the stretch is now complete. The girls are 12" tall above the screen and I'll probably put up a 2nd layer of trellis just to be safe. Will definitely only run 4 of these next time, or maybe 2 with the same veg time to keep the canopy lower, but I don't think the Photontek x465wPro will have any trouble penetrating down into this! Also time for another big strip! These girls just keep putting out the fans, so we'll just keep stripping them off, keeping tabs on airflow and budsites. We're still not setting bud yet - seriously, four full weeks of stretch so far here...

well fuck! this round of grow did not go that great!!! These plants took way to long to flower! its week 12 and they still need like 2 more weeks!!!! i chopped down the Pink runtz b/c they HAD NOT EVEN BEGUN TO FLOWER! It was like they where stuck in Veg! definitly not my favorite auto grow at all! hopefully the Girl Scout Cookies are tasty. I have more seeds from this company, but i will be reluctant to use them going forward... i'm sorry for the negative review, hopefully the bud i get off GSC will change my mind, but i doubt it

The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week! Starting to flower quite vigorously, The pro-silicate is definitely helping push and hold up much of the huge canopy, aswell as the Medi one ☝️ an amazing product!! All around can’t complain with this one.

Tag 70 : Die Triple G ist mein Sorgenkind. Die Gute hat sich ordentlich gestreckt 😱 Die Lampe hängt schon auf Anschlag 😨 Somit ergibt sich ein Lampenabstand von 20cm - 30cm. Ich hoffe das alles gut geht 😬 Die Pflanze hat nur wenig Blüten, aber ist unglaublich durstig, lässt sich aber nur schwerlich gießen. Tag 72: Mit erschrecken musste heute feststellen das ersten Blätter in der Mitte schon gelb werden😱 Es ist mir durch viel bastelarbeit gelungen den Lampenabstand wieder auf 30cm statt wie vorher auf 25cm zu bringen😃 Der Filter jetzt zwar ziemlich dicht an der Decke, aber was solls 😁
