We are almost at the moment of working our magic, we are about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is coming to an end, our Zamensia Slurricane is a very beautiful plant with low internodal distance that looks like a small Japanese tree. We are about to do the last topping that will bring it to 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The topping cuts slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. This one has been the second easiest harvest we ever did (back to the Purple Punch), the plant lost many leaves by herself, still pretty easy. she has a strong flavour and we literally cant wait to smoke her.

This was a quiet week. The girls were recovering from their topping but were also flipping into flower. They have been getting water every two days and that seems to be an issue so I bought an auto watering drip system to install next week. The one I was most excited for this run has done very poorly since getting topped. That's depressing since the girls buds are already purple. Wanted to see how she grows but really might have stunted this one. Only time will tell. She started out tiny but definitely surprised me halfway through. She doesn't really smell as a plant but in the jars and paper bags, she smells like berries and watermelons. Only been a week since I dried her in the fridge but I can't wait so I'm going to try to smoke some of her tonight. I also had to harvest partially as some of the lower buds are not quite ready yet which means I'm not done yet as of now. Will update more soon.

Happy Mother’s Day. 5/13 Getting weird like bright neon orange pistils. I personally think it’s way too early to have pistils changing colors already. 5/16 fairly certain it was wind burn. My humidity was jacking up and my fan was trying to compensate. Changed settings and we should be golden now. Plant is frosting up hella already. I think there’s more frost than there are pistils 5/18 day 20 of flowering. Last day of week 2

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less. 5/1/24 Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period 5/3 2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows through🌱💚
