Just finishing week 4. Damn fungus gnats got me down. Laying some mosquito dunk water on them and expect / hope to have that eradicated soon. Going to do my second leaf stripping in first day or two and a second top dressing, which I do every two weeks up to week 5 or 6.

The defoliation continues and continues. Buds are starting to pack on some weight. Had to start using twist ties to hold up some of the bigger buds. Still giving the bembe on water only days. Everything is progressing nicely

Hello fellow growers, Another week went by, and looking for the trichomes development every other day, I've noticed that the plants still have some bulking and maturing to do, so I gave another week of light feeding to them. The buds are looking really dense and the smell is delicious 😋 The phenotype #2 untill now had only leaves with the purple color but not that the buds are becoming mature, the calyxes are also turning in purple 💜 The #1 that I've harvested is now dry, trimmed and curing in mason jars :) I'll input the data with the others later. Thanks for everyone who's been checking in my diary, it's has been a blessed run so far. See you next week. Felix 😎✌️

Day 35 - All still growing very strong, both plants that aren’t being mainlined are very short & bushy but have a lot of bud sights! This strain has taken very well to mainlining as well, the double mainline is up to 8 tops now and doing great! Thank you to everyone for following & make sure to check back for daily updates! Happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱

The plants were so crowded I decided to put them into a Larger tent to allow some light to the lower bud sites and to help lower the humidity amongst the plants. I'm sure they will love the extra space. The light has now been raised 20cm (20cm taller tent) Allowing me to turn out right up which is 45000 lux in the centre right below it. I will up the bloom to 2ml/l this coming week.

Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

I know why they call em girls now. You get to obsessed and you scare em away. This is not a casual hobby for me anymore. I have been sucked in to this underground world of cool people. If i had a feeling the inline fan needed an adjustment, i would jump out of bed. Before i go to bed, i say my prayers. Im Catholic so a prayer to St Francis of Assisi is a smart move. Even if your an athiest, its worth the 30 seconds and its cheaper than the latest must have miracle chemicle. If your wrong, you lose nothing but if you are right and you know it? you better let me know . You could just say,"St Francis, i dont believe you are real but if you are, would you please grow me some crazy big, solid dank!" This is not ez. The panic waiting for seeds to germinate and then actually take off and you have to pay constant attention to everything. At least i do and its never enough. I keep thinking spring is almost here and all you gotta due is plant, water and harvest but i have come to far with indoor growing so i plan to stop indoors on the day that i die. this is way too cool and everybody here is way too cool. For some reason i totally destroyed the previous grow and the main reason was i was smoking the other last grow all through the thing and couldnt even remember if i just watered or if i was about to and etc..anyway i have developed an elaborate way to water wo getting nutes all over the buds in dense spots esp. i mix in a 1 gallon container, pour into measuring cup and them water through a funnel, slowly and even. ALSO I MADE A GIANT MISTAKE AND SUDDENLY REALIZED MY LIGHTS SHOULD BE A COUPLE INCHES LOWER. So its been warm and im raking out by the road and a neighbor starts telling me the latest on the people on the corner, part, so we start talking about indoor growing and next thing, were showing eachother grow pics and talking bro science and the ultra importance of drying and curing. Instant guy to have stimulating and relevant conversation with and we have been both doing the same thing secretly for past 3 years.. I suspect its a much bigger community than i think i hope this grow does well. these 2 strains are known to grow short and i lst'd them big time so i hope this doesnt have a negative effect somehow. EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT AND IM LOOKING FOR PROBLEMS. ENOUGH OF THAT FOR TODAY. HAPPY GROWING!!

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** Ok, so first week of introducing the trip tonic line of feed into the medium and getting rid of the lotus crap, all of the newer growth is looking much better and some of the older growth is greening up but I don't expect a full fix for that. Gave some extra grow B in this week as it is higher in P and K and will act as a small PK boost for the stretch that is to come. Flipped my plants to flower as well so they are now on a 12/12 setting. Been using the medic grows mini sun 2's internal timer in the lights and they appear to be working just fine. They have pre-programmed setting of 12/16/18/20/22 "on" cycles, I thought it might have been hold the dial till the number you want came up but its not that fancy. As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, Plants are drinking lots so I'm happy with that. Lights still running at 80% with V1 spectrum, will increase to 100% after stretch, don't need to growing into them and burning up. Amazing high. And the bud never smelled like hay. Not even at 85% rh . Still had smelled berries and gas. I am still curing on it and I am very happy with the results. Buds are hard as rock. Not having a big long cola but many big buds, was also good, good trichome production. When smoked cali kush and gorilla glue terpenes profile are felt instantl. It is a delifghyful experience that comes in wjth a cerebral high and turns later into a relaxed body high that leaves you smiling

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. The quality of the ingredients directly influences the quality of the output. To guard the door of your mind means to be selective about what you allow in. It involves actively choosing to consume positive and constructive information while filtering out negativity and harmful influences. If you don't guard your mind, others can "dump" whatever they want into it, leading to undesirable results in your life. You must take responsibility for the inputs to ensure you produce the outcomes you desire. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest.
