It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

08/27/2021 Been 7 days since last pictures. Pheno #4 was eliminated do to the fact she reversed (hermied) I believe that an outside light was at fault. ( lemon Thai) genetics maybe coming through. Others have not really been affected but pheno #2,3 may have been delayed a bit but no sign of hermies just not as developed as pheno #1(Hulk). Going to mix up a flowering tea (AACT) fungal dominant. Also topdress with Gypsum, and Diatomatious Earth before tea is applied. Gypsum Gypsum is calcium sulfate (CaSO4). Refined gypsum in the anhydrite form (no water) is 29.4 percent calcium (Ca) and 23.5 percent sulfur (S). Usually, gypsum has water associated in the molecular structure (CaSO4·2H2O) and is approximately 23.3 percent Ca and 18.5 percent S (plaster of paris). Diatomatious Earth Diatomaceous earth is a mineral-based pesticide and its composition is approximately 3 percent magnesium, 5 percent sodium, 2 percent iron, 19 percent calcium and 33 percent silicon, along with several other trace minerals 08/29/2021 Posted close ups of Hulk.

Well this week I’ve tried lollipop on my main plants also removed a lot of fan leaves that we’re stopping air circulation also light reaching down to growing flowers beneath! Introduced canna flores and more cal mag to my feed! Also introduced another led light and turned up ballast light upto 400w keeping temperature at 26 when lights go out also it’s hitting temperatures of 28! When lights are on! Is this is an issue as I’ve removed my humidifiers! As been getting good readings without using a humidifier in a good few weeks now! They seem to be looking good! But still having to do research as would love to create some big colas!!! Second week into flowering now!

Made it through 7 weeks of flower and the girls are really starting to show themselves. Twisted helix just sucks. Trying to push her another week then she will be made into bubble hash. Sugar Cane is the frostiest of the bunch but buds are pretty small compared to others. Jack Herer has the fattest buds of the bunch and a strong lemon aroma. Platinum jelly is looking nice and frosty. Twisted velvet appears to be a little behind the others but looking nice. I am thinking that the blackcherry punch will be the winner of this grow. Her buds are just covered in beautiful frost and they are also pretty fat and plump. Looks like she is going to put off a nice yield. I have started harvesting pollen from sugar cane clones and dusting the breeder clones. I gave them their first pollination a few days ago, the second today, and will dust them again in a few days. I have been collecting individual pollen sacs as they mature to speed up the process and try to maximize the amount of pollen I can store for later use. It is like trying to do brain surgery on an ant 🐜🐜. I am already seeing a lot of pistils start to brown so things are looking good.

Not much to say about this real first grow week’s start. Everything looks ok, steady growth at 40% light. I had to restart the control app a few times, therefore the broken graphs. At night times, the control software tries to attain optimum humidity rather than optimum VPD. That’s why VPD is dropping when the lights are out. CO2 is back to baseline – really wonder what the reliable values are … I found I have to silence the blowers when a timelapse photo is being taken. The shaking you see at the beginning of the grow video should not appear, or to a much less degree, in the future. Day 13 (July 30th) shows good, steady growth. Leaves are a bit spotty, although less then the processed images show. Something to be worried about? I would not currently … All are developing their 3rd nodes now. The controlling Raspberry Pi crashed last night when I tried to access it remotely … ;( – looks like the Connect software is in need of an update. The leaf temperature sensor is now really aimed at lady-to-be nr. 1’s leaves. Nothing to change that I see. I won’t cut the top yet, just watered the outer circle of the big pots slightly to encourage root growth. Day 14: Nice growth. First plant is now at 11 cm, and at 12 cm on day 15. Nothing special to report so far, except for I had to move the internal camera a bit upwards to keep little lady #1 in focus. Day 16 and last day of this week (Aug 2nd): The young ladies are now at about 14 cm tall. Growth looks very compact though. I think the two inside girls will lose their heads next week; I’d still prefer to have one or two more nodes available. Pictures of this day are taken at the end of the plants’ day. Notice their leaves are pointing upwards, which should be a sign that they want more light. I turned the lights up by another 20% for a total of 60 W now. Weather was pretty hot the last days so it wasn’t possible to stay in optimum VPD range but as long as growth is this satisfying I don’t mind. I will water them slightly at their next day start. Outside plant’s soil humidity might still be at around 58% officially, but drying starts at around 40% with this measurement and the sensors are placed quite closely to the stems so outer soil is dryer. I am preparing the plant water with some additions and a frequency imprint suing some Solfeggio and Schumann frequencies.

I continued to renew the stakes, every 3-5 days and watered when dry. Btw I don't water every day, more like every 2-4 days, when the soil dries out.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. 10/20: I foliar fed her today with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you. She will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed her with the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fed her about a 1/4 gallon with nutes. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night so she'd dry out better. 10/22: I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a bunch of little holes in the lower part of her fabric pot to try and improve oxygen availability to her roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want her roots sitting in muck. 10/23: She's flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity yesterday, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed with BoomBoom Spray and gave her about 8oz of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm she looked happier. Compared to the hybrid seedlings in the space, she's got very narrow, sativa-looking leaves..should be a treat!😋 I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get her to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. 10/24: I fed her another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, along with some bembe and open sesame. 10/25: I fed her about 1/4 gallon with everything except Grow Big. I'll flush her on Sunday or Monday with Sledgehammer and only foliar feed with fulvic acid and boom boom spray until mid-week. Then I'll give her a good douching with humic acid, myco, tricho and beneficial bacteria and bembe(molasses and beet sugars/rock phosphate/trace elements) to keep the microbes thriving. I'll go heavy with P and K later in the week. 10/26: Last day of week 4 and she's doing great! Her pot is still pretty heavy after her feeding yesterday, so it will probably be Monday before I flush her.

Hello everybody :) End of the eighth week of flowering. Everything has calmed down and now the girls are just gaining weight :) The BAC Stimulator + Terpinator combination does the job! Buds are superb covered with resin, very oily and sticky - mniam :)

So this is how things are looking for the Dark Phoenix, happy with 3 of the ladies but there's one that's just been diformed from the beginning. I have uploaded a video for you guys, any questions just ask away 👍🏾🌱💚

Spotted some budrot again. This time I had enough of it and didn't want to risk further rot, so I decided to harvest them and not let them flower for another week. Forgot to take pictures before the trim, they look silly now without the support from the copperdreads and rubberwires haha. They had 8 weeks of flowering, I'm glad that 1 out of 2 came out nicely. The other one is just another regular looking outside plant lol. I always give them a first trim, so the buds can dry better, faster, safer. After some days or maybe at the end of drying, i will trim them again. You can expect the final update with pictures between 7 to 14 days from now. ps, Somehow the beautifull colors from the better plant doesn't show properly when filming or taking pictures, neighter am I a professional photographer. But ill promise to take better ones, once the buds got the final trim and got dried.

02/15 (M) - Prepping her to flip into flower within the next week or two - Weaved her under net for better light coverage - Running 8 drip emitters with a 5 gallon res - 45 sec feed every 8hrs. 02/15 (C) - Thus far all 15 are still kicking but they did take a hit - starter roots for all 15 have begun - I will update with pics within the next 2 weeks - Running high temps and high humidity during lights on. 02/18 (M) - Mom is doing great - No deficiencies - Flipped her into flower today - running 8 line feed with 5 gallon res - clean water feeds for the first 2 weeks. 02/18 (C) - The babies to a bit of a hit they are looking a bit funky but they are rooting - some of the clones are growing their own babies - I will let them rock as to seeing they are rooting and showing new growth.

October 10th she started her 9th week and got her last nutrition. i will harvest her next week or even this weekend.

Started the flush this week. It felt like the right time. I've got significant nute deficiency in the upper leaves of the main cola now. What is surprising is that since taking away all nutes, several of the buds have shown new growth. I was going to flush for just 4 days as its a DWC, but having seen quite a lot of new growth, I'll probably just leave it a few days longer and see what happens. Checking the plant several times a day now, so it's being very closely monitored.
