Hola!! Bienvenidos a esta nueva aventura. En este diario cultivaré la genética de dición limitada del banco GB Strains bajo una luminaria LED de mars hydro, la sp 150, que da unos 140 watts de potencia nominal y en espectro completo. El armario será un trafika de 60x60 y el medio de cultivo 11L de coco en maceta de plástico blanco. El coco va a ser un ladrillo de ugro de 3L hidratado con agua a ph de 5'5 y sin recirculación del agua. La germinación será en papel y usaré el seedboster de plagron ya que he leido varios casos de problemas en la germinación de esta genética y únicamente tengo 3 semillas y me gustaría gastar solamente una. Como novedad para los seguidores escribiré este diario en español, mi lengua nativa, dado que el banco de semillas GB Strains opera principalmente en España, y creo que también en Francia y me suena que Reino Unido, pero no estoy completamente seguro de eso y la idea es que sea lo más útil posible para otras personas. En cualquier caso recordad que en la parte izquierda de la página se pueden activar opciones de traducción a varios idiomas. Sobre la genética remarcar que el banco indica unos porcentajes de thc de 30-33%e n condiciones óptimas con un uso recomendado medicinal y con efecto de relajación intensa. Si no tengo problemas durante el ciclo de cultivo y éste se desarrolla correctamente realizaré un análisis de cannabinoides al finalizar el secado y si este no fuera concluyente o diese valores de menos del 20% que es una desviación bastante sustancial, realizaré otro tras el curado para verificar. Hace bastante tiempo (años) que no cultivo una genética fotodependiente pero espero no tener ningún problema Para los abonos utilizaré GHE/terra aquatica que ya he utilizado con muy buenos resultados (de momento) en mi primer intento con coco y añadiré también fulvic (o diamond nectar) de la misma casa Germinaré la semilla una vez tenga montado el armario de cultivo en los próximos días o semanas. Tambioén grabaré todo el ciclo y crearé video timelapse global y semanal para apreciar reacciones de la planta a estímulos y seguir mejorando la técnica La semilla ha germinado en 48 horas. La dejaré un poco más antes de moverla al jiffy de turba Ha tardado pero finalmente ha germinado la semilla y ya está en el jiffy en el armario. He usado el agua sobrante de mojar el papel para germinar para alimentarla estos primeros días. Cuando muestre sus primeras hojas (no cotiledones) empezaré con el abonado. Finalmente será la serie flora de GHE, no la específica de coco. Este es mi segundo intento con la genética, en el primero falló un programador de riego y generó problemas irrecuperables en la planta por lo que la deseché.

Had a visitor this week. As I was watering my plants I noticed this red spot on one of the leaves... To my surprise it was a ladybug. I don't have aphids or nothing like that, and I don't have the slightest idea where this litle nugget came from.... Besides that all plants are doing OK, NL 1 is a litlle slower than the other ones and its just now starting to show first signs of flower. The other ones did that last week... The NL1 and MC started drinking and eating a lot. They go trough 700ml in a day and half. Upping the watering dosage this week so I can have more time between waterings. I like around 3 days.

Everything is going well with the lady's, no issues so far💪 Gonna put them in flower on the 25th and gonna start adding bud-ignitor to give them a litle kick under the 🍑 Rock on growmies

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. I really liked this variety, it grew in mixed soil, it developed well in vegetation, the buds are dense, it smells sweet, I really liked this variety, the buds should be dried in the dark at 18 degrees at 50% humidity

***Mar 22 Week 2 of flower, looking really good. I made sure to give the reservoir a little extra ppm this time around, because last week the plant ended the week hungry. I put a little extra Plant-Prod in this week, hopefully the extra 300 ppm will be enough this week! I went in and took off some leaves that were blocking the inner nodes, but I didn't take off any small bud sites on the inside *YET* ...I want to wait til stretch is done before taking anything major off, just in case it catches up by then. I will say that it is looking a lot more open now that I took a handful of leaves off. Most of them were overlapping other leaves, or just straight up too big. Others that didn't seem like much of a threat, just got tucked under other branches or leaves. I'm trying to be as hands-off with this grow as I can. Freakshow doesn't seem to like being played with too much. PPM is at 1850 and PH is at 6 Lots of pictures to start this week off, and also a small video to better detail how to plant is growing. I may have to switch CalMag brands by the end of the grow, unless the bottle will last me (I'm sharing my nutrients with my partner), but I don't think that would make too much of a difference, but it's worth noting. I also would like to note that I have not topped, LST'd, or any other training method to be precise, other than taking the top two leaves off as they get too big, I have not done anything else to make this girl get so wide. The canopy has been doing it' all on its own. The roots have been growing around and over the bubbles in the water, making them spread out almost like a cup (my partner has a theory that may be why the plant has been getting wide instead of tall... He believes the plant tends to take on the shape of the container it is it; aka the shape of the roots). I can now confirm that she is a female, as shown in the picture, you can see 2 long pistils coming out! ✊ I think I have the smallest amount of powdery mildew starting, because of the humidity being so high, BUT I have taken all other plants out of the tent, so this freak is all on her lonesome inside the tent now. I have seen an immediate improvement this morning, so I am not concerned over it. Beautiful start of the week, and can't wait to see how it goes the rest of the week! Should expect to see a lot of bushing and hopefully some trichome production by the end of it. Have a wonderful week everyone! 😻 ***Mar 24 Already drank 2 full cups of water (around 2L) and down from 1850ppm to 1600ppm ... oh boy!!! She's so hungry I wonder if I'll be able to keep up hahaha. She's looking really happy and healthy. Roots are still growing like mad. I wanted to trim them, but going to hold off a bit so I don't stress it out. ***Mar 26 ...The amount of water she is drinking is outrageous. I actually had to feed a little bit more nutrients (Plant-prod 15-30-15 about 0.3 tsp to bring the ppm from 1200 to next to 1500 to get through til monday/tuesday) and a sprinkle more of soluble seaweed. I did a little lollipopping tonight as well! Looking much more open and I took out a lot of the small bottom bud sites and leaves that weren't really getting any light. Everything is looking super good, and still no health issues. Doesn't seem to be missing any nutrients, but also doesn't seem to be bothered by having extra nutrients either.
