Week 5

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first indoor photoperiod plant. Beginning of week.. These girls are not looking too bad.. I believe the leaves are not spreading much of those issues anymore.. The medium is still spittin out acidic runoff tho.. The only thing I can think of is the roots from previous runs weren't completely removed.. The decomposing roots inside the medium may make the medium acidic af... But I still don't know 100%.. I read that in 1 forum but again.. Idk 100%.. *sigh.. I really hope I can complete this run with no major issues or hurting yields too much. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will somehow just fix itself lol.. Ugh.. But I am not giving up! I WILL fill this 2x4 tent with MASSIVE ETHOS COLAS! Gonna be topping soon.. As soon as the main stem is long enough to cut and still be able to leave some stem so that the top 2 branches don't spit. These 2 plants have very different branch sizes.. I believe its because of the light not being able to penetrate as much of the branches on the ETHOS Cookies due to the fan leaves being on such short stems. The Mandarin Cookies may take over more than half of the tent.. But that shouldn't be a major issue.. As long as both are getting great light penetration, I'll be happy.. Still not sure if I am gonna LST and ScrOG or just LST.. I really wanna ScrOG and try ir out. I just hope I do it right.. I think I may have it figured out.. Need a little more research! But the girls are doing good.. Temps are getting kinda high here and there.. But they don't seem to mind too much. I will be upping the FloraGro and keeping the Hydroguard in the mix, also.. If it can help with root issues in hydro, maybe it can help my issue too... It says it can turn decaying matter into food for the plants.. So I guess we shall see!... Later that night... So I fed late today and checked the runoff, as I always do.. It had been 3 days since I last watered/fed (flushed actually.. Then added 1L of nutes so she wouldn't be hungry)... *going in (each): - 3L @ 1000 PPM 6.4 pH *runoff: - Mandarin Cookies: 150 PPM 6.0 pH - ETHOS Cookies: 200 PPM 6.0 pH ... So the pH is possibly starting to balance back out! The runoff still did not contain this feeding or the last feeding when it comes to TDS in the runoff.. Unless these girls are drinking/eating it up like that! The roots at the drain holes are looking massive and healthy as can be! I can't imagine they are doing bad in there.. And they are growing quite well.. But I can't wait to get these girls going!!!.. Oh yeah.. I went ahead and topped them both.. Both have 6 nodes.. That is all.. Going to let these girls just start branching out and going to try and not mess with them much (if anything just tie some bramches down to help them all kinda even out.. A.k.a... LST lol) till it is time to lollipop and get ready for flower! Just feeding/watering and tucking leaves when I can so the new colas can start doing their magic! So excited!!! Next day... I found some Coca-Cola crates.. I'm gonna use them to raise the pot and saucers off the ground.. The saucer has been holding moisture underneath and creating a bit of a mildew-ey smell.. So now, I make sure I rinse the entire saucer.. Top and bottom.. With all the airflow in the tent, theybwill dry in 60 seconds no problem!.. But now the tops are 12 inches from the light.. The power is still at 25%.. And now the girls are getting around 300 - 350 μmols/m2/s or whatever it is lol.. Mid week.. Went ahead and fed her again today. I added the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) because it contains the most Potassium.. That is what most of these marks on the leaves are from, I believe.. The runoff pH came out at 5.8 and 5.7 today.. *sigh... I really need this to clear up.. Hmm.. Maybe FloraKleen??? I guess that's all I have left to try.. Flushing multiple gallons every day for 3 or 4 days wasn't enough.. It helped.. But damn, I think I need to pull out ths big guns to clear this up.. Gonna see what happens next watering (2 or 3 days) and see what the runoff is then.. May set it to go in at 6.5 or something.. Idk... Ugh.. I really wanna just try hydro lol.. I bet one plant in a 5 gallon bucket would do awesome in this tent with a ScrOG! Hmmmmm.. Lol... End of week.. Went ahead and lollipopped a little. Both plants.. Also tied some of the longer branches down some.. Once the higher up branches are a little longer, I can then get them all tied down and begin figuring out if I should ScroG.. All depends how this ETHOS Cookies does in the next week or so.. On to the next!...

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

The germination i forgot to take pictures so i just have a video of the first 3 strains i started before the other seeds arrived. I used the same metod for all of them 24h in the glass of water after that 48h in the cotton pads in the zip lock bag with 3 sprays of water on the cotton pads and 1 spray when inside the zip lock bag is closed untill 80% leaving a small gap for them to breath. I decided to plant them after that in the final resting pot for this strain in a 5 gallon fabric pot. I used the following media on the bottom of the fabric pot i used 10% of Goldlabel HydroCorn after filled up with Advanced Nutrients coco cultivator (50% coco 30% perelite 20% pebbles) and i mixed on the media some Azos , Mykos and Great White The light schedule for the first 5 days was 24/0 and after that i change for 18/06 schedule. Just water the plants on the 15/06 i think all my seedlings are stuned because my light is too strong for them and the light is dimed to 25% waiting on my new seedling light the Spider Farmer SF1000EVO LED should arrive just on wednesday because they are stunned i decided to call week 1 veg on the 16/06. And my light meter for lux is saying i have 8600Lux converted is 148 and my dli on meter from the phone is saying 150 so its 3x times more the recomended i just dont understand if this phone app is working correctly. Update on the order from spider farmer from Ebay (Order the item on a thursday and the order was not updated on ebay on the following Monday so decided to contact them to understand when i am gonna receive my order i was told true ebay that my item as been shipped and i will receive an update within 1 hour to tell what time the item will be delivered. So never received any message giving my time slot delivery. Never received the item and at 21pm the tracking updeted on Ebay saying delivered so i contected them next day to be told that the courrier actually lost my order and that they will reshippe the order again but was told i need to wait 2 buiness days for the warehouse to processe my order beacuse they are busy what i replied that why should be me the costumer that needs to wait 5 or 6 more days for the order to arrive to me that they should send me the item on the same day and send me with one day delivery. The ansewer was they could not do it so i cancell the order asked for a refund and never more use their products appailing costumer service)

Vamos, última semana de floración de las Blueberry Cheese de ZambezaSeeds. Octava semana y es que están ya explotadas y maduras estas flores, ya llevan 7 días solo agua y con u. Respectivo lavado de raíces , ya están preparadas para afilar tijeras. Tienen un progreso bastante rápido con 8 semanas voy a poder cosechar que no está nada mal. Gracias a los productos de Agrobeta tendré buenos resultados. Day 44 - Some lower leaf issues on the Sour Stompers, mostly #1. I've switched to just pH'd water the last 2 waterings, might continue to hold off on nutes until the roots are strong enough. Some minor burning on 4AM as well but not as bad.

Terminando ya esta quinta semana de vida y la planta se ve bastante sana y con un buen color. Ha sido la que ha crecido más lento en comparación a sus compañeras, pero no hay apuro, acá le damos el tiempo que necesite a cada nena para que se desarrolle de la mejor forma 💚 Buenos Humos!

3° Semana- Aeroponía - Mejoría apreciable, las raíces están mucho más sanas, la velocidad de crecimiento comienza a ser mayor, además el área de las hojas que realizan fotosíntesis es mayor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3° Week- Aeroponics - Appreciable improvement, the roots are much healthier, the speed of growth begins to be greater. 1/11: Fed today, but had no time for a photo sesh. All good. Systems nominal. 1/15: Was gonna feed today, but had no time... 1/16: Fed today...they were very thirsty... Took a few photos. Zenzations will be the first to finish..they are both senescing and smell great. Prolly another 14 days or so for them. Black Jacks and Gorilla Girls still have 3-4 weeks left to go.

No se cómo expresar mi felicidad después de casi 3 años sin poder cultivar consecutivamente he podido cosechar esta belleza gracias a @blacktunaco por la K.O una genética llena de resina con flores compactas. Cometiendo errores desde el principio se pudo obtener una excelente planta corrigiendo todo para así mejorar el aprendizaje continuo. Se dieron 12 días de lavado de raíz y 3 de estos estuvo expuesto a lluvia constante durante los 3 días por tal razón se decidió cosechar para evitar dañar las flores

engordando y que hermoso con poco espacio estás automáticas producen mucho muy feliz seguimos aprendido y cualquier comentario es bueno...

Day 8-06/12/22 seed is out and growing!!!!

Smell is so nice now, skunky with almost a sweet spice in the mix. I started bagging them at 7pm on July 19th. After 8-10days flower was showing. Idk, I'm actually happy with my slow going process. I mean these girls were started around the very end of March indoors. Now, almost mid August I'm just a little over a week into flower. Slow process people. Gunna be worth the wait though 😏 All in all, I'd say if you live in Zone 3b, growing pure Sativa outdoors is not the most optimal choice. It can be done successfully though with a little extra care and attention paid.
