This plant is taking a while to grow it is awesome some with its smell. It smells like coconut and strawberry . If I could speed up time to smoke it that would be cool.

A lot of rain, crazy weather.

She is in week 1 flowering and well everything is going fine I start to give her some Alga Bloom. I still see that she needs allot of Nitrogen. Next week I will be giving hersome Alga Grow for extra Nitrogen. The Scrog is going really good she is getting nice and full. Over weeks she will start so show small buds woohoo.😍

I've changed the EC level to now 1.5, and i've set the pH to 5.6. The stem is looking strong and healthy. Moving into Flowering stage. Note - Added in a carbon filter on the extract fan, to keep the smell down as on a warmer day they was a little strong, all working perfectly. Can't wait to wrap these up :)

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

This week was solid again. I’m monitoring the two back plants in slightly smaller pots as they are using much less water right now and are also a few days in growth behind their sisters in the larger pots. Very happy with the growth but I wanted to test the plants tolerance to the light at 36” above the canopy. I simply placed 12” pots under each of them rather than lower the light as I have it in a fixed position right now at the very top of the tent. Plants are responding well...or at least there is no negative response as they are still growing very 💪. I am constantly LST’ing in order to keep the canopy low and flat. The Durban’s are only at 10” and the Cali’s are at 13”. I broke one top on the Cali Haze but I grafted it back on with some on hand electrical tape. These girls are much tougher to keep low than the Durban’s so I need every branch! Bumped their feed up to an EC of 1.4 and will continue to increase this week to see how they respond. So far there is no signs of leaf burn. I’ve pre programmed my entire grow with spectrum changes during their transitions and such but i went with a 5 week veg and I’m almost contemplating flipping them after week 4? Anyone else grow 4 plants in a 5x5 tent before? If so, how long did you veg for? I need to keep them fairly low as they are both sativas and will stretch a fair amount and I want to hammer them with UVB at the end but California Lightworks suggests a minimum distance of 24” be maintained between plants And UVB lights.

I have 7 week-old plants that have more trichomes than 8 weeks wish I could figure out why it's not too hot they've been running right at a temperature of about 82 degrees I was thinking at first maybe it's the topping and the defoliation but I did the same thing to my other two plants which are younger and they have more trichomes

I wish I could figure out why I don't have more trichomes this is supposed to be Gorilla Glue supposed to be covered by now as far as I know anybody got any thoughts on this

undeterred continues to grow ... very slowly surely the growth will be 'longer than normal, but given the forecasts is a pleasure to wait The plant remains very dense with leaves and flowers the dimensions are from XXL, I have not done many plants until now but this is the most particular   I have great expectations ....

Flushing ladies as trichomes become cloudy and amber. I am ready for harvest in the next two weeks.

Started with a super low dose of massive bloom now that my flowering has started on these, it was recommended by the hydro guy and I wanted to use something as just the organics has not been thickening up the way all of my bottle grows did and I think it is due to a lack of PK. I also added in some myco spores on vermiculite that I got from the hydro store as well, figured it would be beneficial for the roots during flower and likely should have had it the entire grow. I have tied down my one plant in more places as a test to see if it will produce better than the other 2 which were only tied in one spot.

Growing how it is and its good.

Steady away bless her , small drops of water every couple of days as I don't want to drowned her . Using bio bizz soil n mixed in a bit of worm humus in to slowly top her up as she grows , as I believe it helps her stalk thicken up , strengthens too . 9/30/18. She still looks great. No burn and no deficiencies so far. I fed her a liter and a half . The pot is now heavy but not totally soaked. I did not water to runoff but the lower portion of the pot is wet. I don't like soaking the pots because the bottoms take ay too long to totally dry and I have had issues watering schedules. 10/5/18 Still doing perfect with minimal attention. Bumped up the amount of Grow Big last feeding with no ill effect. Looking ahead and having weeks before the auto is done I didn't know how to face the upcoming issue of vertical space. Shes too big to LST and I did not want to top her because shes doing incredibly well and want to see what she will produce. I rigged up a scrog contained within the bucket. I did a mod years ago to a smoker which gave me the idea in the middle of the night. I might change out the screen itself since it was just what I had on hand but will see how it works.. The openings are 2.5" so it should suit my needs. I have it set at 8 inches above soil but it is fully adjustable up and down by the nuts on the threaded rod. I plan on keeping the main stem under the screen to induce the plant to keep producing shoots and fill the area. Im pretty excited about trying this and Stay Tuned.
