What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. Inspecting the plants for any signs of pests or nutrient deficiencies. Growth Observations The plants are responding well to the controlled environment and balanced nutrition. They are growing rapidly, with new leaves appearing almost daily. The stems are thickening, and the overall structure of the plants is robust and healthy. I topped her this week and she became very bushy within two days. I also changed her into a 10 gallon grow bag and she is loving it! Growing quickly she seems to love all the nutrients she can get !

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

End of week 2 in flowering (day 57 from sprout) and things go well. Made some defoliation and tied up some last stems to keep the plants in the center of the tent lower in hight than the the plants in the edges. I didn't add any fertilizer this week and generally i don't feed often even if my grow is organic. Addititives in the soil before transpalant do the trick. Most of these strains need light to moderate feeding especially in Nitrogen.

the experiment continues. unfortunately it went up too fast, i'm trying to tie it down a bit. at least it's still alive and i hope it will stay alive for the next week.😅😇

The green crack is looking mad , once the runt of the litter but now looks to be pick of the bunch , so stoked to smoke all this green crack my fave strain . Only needing some defol and keeping up the feed she’s a nute pig getting thru 6 litres a day . Once the apricot comes out I’ll spread her out and start the wind down .

Another few weeks left in this lady so will continue too feed her until she starts too ripen , No problems at all too this point and she has had two weeks of more PK , I really do love these purple kush plants they look unreal So she has started too foxtail this week and coming along nicely , I've started too flush now on day one of week 9 I hope she will be done around week 10 This is the second time I have grown a blackberry kush strain and I really have too say for me I love these plants not only because of the colour but more so the trimming is very minimal as these plants are all thick dense buds , so after you have picked off the main large fan leaves there really isn't much more too it , I like too keep on the sugar leaves for drying and cure because I can put the whole thing into my magical butter machine too make oil and get all the goodness possible , Should be ready right on Dutch passions flower time ,

Diese Woche haben sich die Pflanzen von der Entlaubung der letzten Woche erholen dürfen, nach drei Tagen (die ersten drei Bilder) haben sie schon wieder einiges an Blattwerk zulegen können. Des Weiteren ist die Woche nicht viel passiert, ausser dass ich die Bodenfläche zurückgewonnen habe und endlich einen Umluftventilator zum clippen kaufen konnte. Ach und zum Ende der zweiten Blütewoche habe ich einen Komposttee gemacht, den sie am Samstag Abend bekommen haben. Ich hätte schon früher gerne den Tee gemacht, aber ich musste auch hier erstmal alle Sachen kaufen, da ich leider wieder komplett von Null beginnen musste.

30.05. - 05.06. (DD.MM.) Because the seeds were eaten by fungus gnat larvae in the first two attempts, in which I placed the seeds in a large pot immediately after germination, I first grew the seeds in a smaller pot (approx. 10 cm in diameter) for this third attempt. Because of the fungus gnat larvae, i poured boiling water over my soil before planting and then covered it with aluminum foil until it was cold. That way I was able to kill all the larvae. I put the plant in my self-made growbox (50 x 50 x 120cm) after about 5 days. The plant was under a planting bell and was watered with 10ml of water on the 7th day after planting.

D43 - At the beginning of the second week of flower and the girls are loving life. Overall, I'm happy with the flat canopy, but there's one branch higher than the rest on the first girl. I've never super-cropped an auto, so I figured, why not give it a go and see what happens? It's only one branch after all and we still have weeks of flower to go. I also lightly defoliated the girls further. Nothing extreme, just cleaning up here and there. I've been lazy and haven't brewed any compost tea in a while, so I hand-watered the girls with 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.3 with 25 ml EM-1 to boost the microbes in the soil. I'll brew some tea in a few days and feed the girls then. D45 - Minor LST. The first girl is bouncing back nicely from her super cropping. D46 - I started brewing a compost tea last night using a pretty basic recipe of worm-castings, rock dust, kelp meal, and molasses. Today each girl got 1.25-liters of tea @ pH 6.5. I set up automation to control the RH in the tent using an Inkbird controller a while ago, where the humidifier and the extraction fan are hooked up to the controller. If the RH goes above the set value, then the fan kicks in to extract the humid air, while if the RH goes below, then the humidifier starts. With a stable temperature, it works like a ghetto VPD controller where the tent is in the ideal VPD range during the 20 hours of light but still in an acceptable range during the dark hours. Controlling the environment is always a headache in a tiny tent, but this system works exceptionally well, considering it is cheap and basic. D49 - We have reached the end of the second week of flower and everything is going great in the tent. The grow is pretty much running itself now that most training is done and the watering system takes care of the irrigation. I'm still dialing in the system though.

Flowering day 15 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) This week the ladies developed beautifully 👍. The stretch has started very strongly :-) . Watering was done twice this week with 1.2 l (see table above for nutrients). The heating mat does exactly what it is supposed to do, you can see that the ladies are doing perfectly again 😃. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water in a 100 liter tank so that I would have enough stale water for the coming week 👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. During the check, I noticed that after spraying neem oil 3 times, there were still a few damn trips to see. I have ordered nematodes for leaf and substrate against tripse. This girl is growing up…after almost drowning her, she dried up and gained some more leaves and height. I noticed some pree flowers however i am confused by her height so lets see. I know she was stressed out because of the water logged soil but lets see.
