Just updated with some final product shots -- the dry ice method was a new one for me -- It went pretty well except I f'd up and dumped a bunch of trim into the sift -- contaminated 1/2 of it -- I smoked the other 1/2 😁 I am happy with this run - it produced some stellar buds --- Gelato Rules!

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

they are growing nicely, cant wait for the warmer weather to set in so I can plant these girls outdoors. Had a fungus gnat issue that i swatted down with some physical traps and Raid green Earth, see video for details. Also problems with 2 spotted spider mites so I deployed my troops, predatory spider mites. They should get rid of the problem for me.

2 weeks into flower guys. Looking real nice stayed really short considering they nearly had a 6 week veg , and the write up on them says they have an explosive stretch during the flip not seen they yet but I'm not complaining . Changed the nutrients from pre flower to full flowering feed as stated on the chart . Picked a few fans of all of them yesterday not to much just anything overlapping.

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 I wouldn’t get let her go in a tent as she will likely be kissing the light at some point😃 XL strain anyways.💪 On bigger branches I would clip off another node lower than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top colas will fill in as much as one would like but........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway. Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 6.3pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water. 30ppm and 5.8pH going in. - One minute she looks to be swelling and then others you think she is stalling.....”watched pot” idea. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 1900ppm and 6.5pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1800ppm and 6.3pH - Heavy leaf strip today. She is sticky :) Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - noticing more red hairs today....starting to finish more.....lower is still nice and white.....harvest in stages???? - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1450ppm and 6.4pH. - Followed the feed with 2L of 5.2pH water with Sensyzime & Liquid Weight.....bring down pH. - runoff after that was 1100ppm and 6.3pH.....better :) Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.25pH going in. - Runoff - 350ppm and 6.3pH. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - Going in was 5.2pH as she was not coming down much with high 5pH feeds. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush......not much else other than let her dry out at this stage....... - her top colas are pushing out more new growth. - the tops are getting wider and forming a point more. Gelato Auto in royal mix from plagron and the following nutrients... Plagron sugar royal...power buds...alga grow and aptus all purpose...aptus regulator and aptus calmag booster and once a week some magig minerals from TA a bit powder around tge plant stem

day 6 and 7 of week 12 after the nutes were added at the begining of week 11 and flushing once halfway through week 11 and twice before taking her down on week 12. Will do the harvest week in 5 days

7/5/25 plant is stretching. Not sure if its preflowering or just being outside in a bigger pot. Im just going to let her grow naturally and see how it turns out. I may end up with just one diary of each strain at the moment. But im also not sure whether im going to be doing indoor or outdoor based on personal circumstances.

18.06 A way more late update of this grow as I usually provide for two reasons - first I didn't had any time to control or keep care of this grow during the last weekend, second: due to the first point I run into a problem I needed to identify before I update my journal. As you can see in the video there is one plant with some kind of brown leave tips and yellow sugar leaves. I am not 100% sure why this happened but I think it could be some kind of wind burn. I didn't noticed that one slot of my power strips wasn't working anymore, this slot was turning on and off some fans. So the fans just blow straight at least for two days in a row against the plants. Beside that I raised the speed of my main fan a bit a week ago and the plant that is the nearest to this fan show the signs on the leaves I notice here. So I fixed the fans and observed the plants a bit more in detail the last days. The problem didn't developed further so I think this is fine now. There can also be some other reasons, as I wrote last week I changed a bit my nutrient scheme but since I wasn't above EC 2 at all I am not really comfortable with this theorie. Anyway, I closed the tank from sunday to monday so the plants just had what was left in the autopot system and used that until the next light schedule. Afterwards I changed my nutrient scheme back to the classic Hesi scheme. The plants are really well, the trichomes are still clear so I think we have at least until 3 weeks to harvest. The plants will become next week full scheme, afterwards I will check the trichomes again and decide if I start to reduce the scheme or not as we come closer to the harvest.
