Switched spots in tent to see if Purple Kush darkens up a bit. pH at 7 again over night, so I dropped it back down to pH 5.5 Next day Purple and Pink Kush had pH around 6, so I dropped it a little again. Is it normal for pH to change over time? Purple Kush still shows signs of getting darker leaves starting at the tips. I will give another 2 days to see if the lower pH helps. Purple Kush seems to be getting color back through out it's leaves. Not a gradual change, but blotchy dark green moving back in I hope. Pink Kush and Purple Maroc seem to enjoy the addition of a CO2 generator. I expect this time next week to have flowers on the Pink and Purple Kush. See you next week....

Things are progressing with this grow. The nutritional issues caused by recent heat stress may have stunted growth a bit, but the buds are forming nicely regardless. They’ve started to bulk up, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the final growth and ripening to finish. A lot of the pistils are still white, so we’re likely at least two weeks away from harvest. Last two weeks have gone well. She is growing steadily and becoming a monster. I can't even imagine how big she is going to be by fall. I did some defoilation to allow more light to penetrate further in and I adjusted the lst ties to open her up some. Took a few clones from her that are doing well. Can't wait to get her stuck in the ground. She is going to be the biggest plant I have grown based on her current size. I know I am going to have to brace her branches when flower starts to be safe. This was an amazing experience for my first grow. Was super unsure of what I was going to yield, but I think 27 grams is a realistic harvest and Im looking forward to see if I can get bit larger of a yield on the next run. I want to try main-lining, see for better energy distribution and more equal bud growth. Also investment into a proper reflector and possibly enclosed space. Note- I trimmed my plant the night before harvest morning. I removed than fan leaves to start, and then proceeded to trim the plant. I pulled out a lot of the leaves with no frost by hand. The sugar leaves had so much crystal on it I thought I would leave the smaller ones on the bud. I gave it a light trim, and used all the trim to make Isopropyl Alcahol (99%) based extract. Got about 1 gram from the run. I also had a nice little ball of finger charas from the trimming. I harvested it in the morning at about 04:30 am before the light cycle triggered at 7am. She hung and dried for about a week, where I then chopped her into buds. She cured for 2 weeks before i started smoking. Ask anything you want to know! Were officially at the Flowering Stage! I waited to name the week “Flowering” until all the plants are in flower. The late training didn’t turn out too bad and I did the best I could to get as many bud sites as I possibly could and it seems to look like it turned out good but not great. One of the two runts is not in flower yet and is growing faster and bigger by the day, the other one - let’s not even go there but for interest sake I’m going to keep watering it and see what happens. Perhaps one bud os better than none? Installed my my brand new AC infinity T6 Inline fan and for the first time since starting this grow I think I have adequate air circulation and much better environmental control. I also top dressed with Bio Grow and Bio Bloom (Green House Feeding) and a Tbsp of Mycorrhiza per plant.

Never heard of weedseedsexpress before coming to grow diaries. Saw the contest as a great opportunity to try new seeds, and I was very surprised with the outcome. 100% germination rate, super strong plants, easy to grow, when it comes to pests and plagues, also performed well... even tho one was chopped because of becoming hermie, didn’t had any other issues with it. They like space to grow! And taking 2kg from 5 plants, to me, it’s an absolute record! I’ll definitely wanna try now more of @weedseedsexpress and recommend you guys to try them too. Weed has been drying now for 4 days, so, pretty soon I’ll be able to add the final weight!

Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Hello Growmies, We're now at week 11 with our Epic Buzz, and the flowering stage is hitting its stride. The buds are making their presence known, stretching around the colas in a spectacular display, and I'm starting to see the early stages of trichome production. This glittering onset is a clear indicator that our plant is entering a peak phase of resin production. In response to this, I've increased the resin-specific nutrients to support and enhance this natural process. Epic Buzz is proving to be quite the thirsty one, almost depleting her 2-liter daily water ration, which has led to a few challenging moments. The small reservoir size has resulted in occasional nutrient lockouts due to the rapid water consumption. However, I've adapted quickly, now refilling the reservoir every two to three days to keep ahead of these issues. These adjustments in our watering schedule are critical, as they prevent the water level from falling too low, which could stress the plant and impede her progress. It's a delicate dance of vigilance and response, ensuring that Epic Buzz receives the consistent care she needs to flourish. As we move deeper into the flowering phase, the anticipation grows each day. Watching the buds develop and the trichomes proliferate is a daily joy, a reminder of why we cultivate these wonderful plants. With each challenge overcome and every new development, the bond between grower and plant strengthens. I'm looking forward to what the next weeks will bring us. Ahhrrrrrggggghhhh PH imbalances! Don't panic. We got this. After a few theories and a bunch of research what I originally thought was light stress then a Cal Mag deficiency. Then I saw leaf damage and thought of Thrips. Wrong wrong and wronger. Turns out the soil PH is all out if wack. By which I mean waaaaaay too high. Like almost 8. That's what I get for not thinking PH was nOT tHaT BiG a dEaL. Now equipped with my PH and TDS meters and a little PH up and PH Down from Standard Hydroponics we can get thing back into balance. Lots of leaf growth this week. Looks like flowering is right around the corner. This will probably be the last week I'll feed her Grow Girls Grow from DSN and switch to Bloom Baby Bloom next week. I've also done some defoliation this week to get light to some of the bud sites. Again I had no idea LST was this powerful, she's gonna have such pretty flowers Looking forward to Bloom 🌹🚀🌻😎

Besonderheiten: Sie wurde nach draußen umgepflanzt. -Tag 88 sie hat heute morgen die 2 Meter erreicht... Was für ein Monster 👍😯, Wir haben uns entschlossen da die Überdachung nur 240cm hoch ist das wir sie an der Roten Schnur die man auf dem Foto sieht entlang leiten werden, und somit die spitze nicht abschneiden müssen. Sie wird dort dann sehr viele kleine Spitzen bilden. Mal sehen wie das wird 😌

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * This one is still going it will prob come down end of the week, I kinda wish I didn't start the flush so soon on some of these but better sooner than later I guess I'm just ready to move on to the next round. I will get some pics in the studio right before harvest.
