Our Biscotti, heir to the legendary purple-red champion, this time in the normal version, is starting to get really serious. The flowers are super compact as I like, they are starting to take on color and are full of trichomes which I exceptionally photographed even in the ripening phase because they are gorgeous. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Durban Nights, she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and has her first true set of leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. It's week 10 of flowering, and the Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle is almost ready to harvest. I think we'll get the saw out within the next week. It smells lemony, and the buds are hard and firm. Can't wait to test these 🍋.

Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering I did the last trimming/pruning till harvest this week past. The plants have recovered and are going into resin production now. I have stuck my nose in the tent when I first open it after the dark period and I hardly get any smell. Just a bit of a citrus/hash smell which is interesting because this is supposed to be a strong strain, which in the past has meant a strong smelling strain as well. Makes you go Hmmm isn't that interesting. This weeks puzzle is a maze. Feel free to print it off and solve it. Please don't write on the screen or it might come off if you use one of those dry erase markers. but printing is better😂 Answer next week. It's been a quite wood splitting week for me. Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be growing beautifully and now they are starting to develop beautiful flowers and they are entirely covered with white snow trichomes it is a very strong and powerful plant to grow what a beauty . I also I defoliate some of the lower branches that will not going to develop well enough because lack of light so they can use that energy on the upper buds instead of the lower ones. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Day 12F-19F (May 3rd - May 10th) (Day 13) Pots are still super heavy and I don’t see these things drying out anytime soon so we’ll see over the next few days. Still no signs of overwatering. (Day 14) I’m going to do a little lst. Better late than never and since the pots are saturated the stems are bendier. I noticed they were quite droopy during lights off but are praying by lights on. (Day 16) Man these things are filling out slow. I’m going to drop the light a few inches and see if that helps at all. Definitely no early trichs. (Day 19) So I haven’t had to water at all in the last 10 days and the pots are still quite heavy. Oddly enough, I still see no signs of overwatering. Perlite did it’s job I guess.

30% of the pistils are brown now. Trichrome are 100% milky. Started flushing on this week. I hope that buds are still going to fatten up a lititle before harvest.

Rains came. Plants protected as flowering was about to start. Mesh to prevent moths from laying eggs. They are a big problem were I live and I amb not a big fan of foliar spray during flowering as we live in a very humid area. Some defoliation was done.
