Week 1 Day 1 9/23/2023 I decided to go ahead and flip her to flower today, she had a stem past the net and high enough to super crop. Humidity was a little high so I added both Dehumidifiers to the tent and attached them to the InkBird. Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-5.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-5.2Mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 1mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Flipped the lighting to Flower 0800-2000, I filled with Week 1 flower Nutes, and I Super Cropped One of the Tops down. Week 1 Day 2 9/24/2023 I cleaned my canopy today, by trying to look straight down and opening up as many Tops sites as I could see blocked by leaves directly above. This will be my life for the rest of Flower cleaning and clearing as well as ensuring no sucker buds. Week 1 Day 3 9/25/2023 Today was one of those days where you can just sit back and look and enjoy some of the work you have put in. Today I just let her be.. Week1 Day 4 9/26/2023 I took the fan leaves that were blocking those beautiful bud sites from light.. Such will be my life every time I enter the tent for the rest of the grow. The clones all have roots coming from the rapid rooter, I am feeling really good that by Sunday they will be ready for selection and planting. Week1 Day 5 9/27/2023 I did some extreme defoliation today I opened the tent and she was just sooo full. Week1 Day 6 9/28/2023 I took a little from the inside and a few smaller inner stems.. I hate to take stems until after week 3 of growth to give each a chance to shoot up and hit the canopy. Week1 Day 7 9/29/2023 Took a look from the underside to see how much light was penetrating the canopy and removed some leaves and stems that were blockers. Tomorrow will add 10 gallons and the Nutes.. that will be my last in between week fill before I start having to change weekly for the rest of the grow.

The first part of this week has been great. It's cool but dry. There's was no dew on day 2. It's sunny with low humidity during the day. The plants are feeding on the built up nutes in the soil. I did not feed the listed formula although that is what I use prior to the flush week and thought I'd include it. We missed two projected rains and received one very light rain in the early a.m. hours of day 6 of this week. This was a great week for the girls. The rain didn't materialize like the forecast. We still had p.m. hours humidity in the 90s and cool nights, but these girls handled it. Only one has shown susceptibility to powdery mildew. Overall this is a beast outdoor strain for the Midwest USA. We have had a lot of leaf eating caterpillars attacking the plants because the trees are losing their green leaves. Just some natural defoliation no biggie.

We finally started flowering this week, some plans changed and we did not clone this genetics, we are waiting to do a broader Pheno hunt and get the best specimen available.

first week of flowering, started on sept. 21th. irrigation being tuned weekly due to climate and drinking variations. ipm foliar sprayed on monday 18th with ohn, organic fruit vinager, pumpkin ffj, neem oil, Solem "sun's fert", and neutral soap. on thursday 21th and saturday 23th ipm foliar sprayed with EM5, liquid quillaia extract, Solem "sun's fert" and epson salt.

I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. They're super happy adjusting to the new tent and 5 gallon containers. It's been 2 weeks since I first moved them in here and so I flipped them today. So 3 weeks from now we should be seeing buds :) I also raised the light about 10-12 cm to hopefully encourage more vertical growth. I plan on lollipopping them in about a week or so, too. Cover crop is sprouting so that's a great sign also.

Growth still slow. LST started in earnest, I didn't fill the soil high enough in the pot so the pot flexes too much to pull the stems down. Note to self, fill the pot more next time. Flowering has started!

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.
