My biggest mistake of this grow was using peat pots (pictured above) for the seedlings. They are advertised as though they are to be put right in the ground. Unfortunately, they don't decompose fast enough. This bound the roots and made for a very stunted grow. I finally tore them off and put the plants directly in the soil and things have improved dramatically. I used them last spring for my vegetable garden and had horrible results. I assumed it was a soil problem. Now, I know the pots were the issue. The big news this week is the soil. Two of my plants are in the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. The third plant is in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. The two in the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend look so much better than the Fox Farm Ocean Forest Plant.

Day 78. Visited outdoors garden. Girls in ground grows way bigger than in pots. Biggest strain Lemonade Og. Same as indoors all Whiteys almost finished. My friend does this run, i had no time, all they got is my soil mix and fishmix by biobizz in veg. Those Autos are really good, but all so different, pattern stays the same indoors vs outdoors. Indoor girls can't get back. This is 4sure my last attempt in mixing outdoors with indoors, girls never loved it at mines. One Whitey is almost done, she needs just good flush for a week plus, in two weeks both Diesels will go aswell. Lemon Og is the long runners, but like i predicted, they grow huge plants, just not in this run ;))) Ill give a go for Whiteys and Lemon Ogs indoors one day soon, despite my promise not to grow Autos ... ;)))) Maybe i give FastBud a go vs them. Have big respect to theirs products. Day 81. Had too easy 3 night shifts, even was answering grow questions ,))) So ... Came home and did what i had to do - Great Flush. As suspected Whiteys are smallest, fastest to flower and fastest to finish, one will be chopped in a week. Lemonade OGs are bigest, but latest to flower. One Diesel has really nice colours, but its DEFICIENCY ;))) Anyway, can't get my issue, maybe its not light shock, maybe my roots don't get same airflow as in greenhouse, where they basically stand on two planks with good gap in-between and even after. For next grow ill buy trays .Always doubted do i need them, but sometimes i do, so its time for upgrade. I wanted to get answers and made proper flush. Each plant got 50 Liters of water 7.0 ph and after that : 80 ppm, 6.2 ph , 1Liter for each plant to reload soil ph. Future will show, or maybe will confuse me even more ;))) I am not expecting any harvest from those autos, i gave away more than 20 plants, those where left purely for taste, but to crack why my plants from outdoor don't grow inside, i would love to. 12 weeks / 84 days old today. So my first grow journey is coming to an end! Not a lot to report this week. Been using my jewellers loupe daily to keep an eye on the trichomes and can definitely see a big difference. (Sorry, pictures are crap - don’t have enough hands to get a good one!) Still watering with plain water but they’re taking a lot less and only been watered every 4 days or so. Sticky orange has lots of cloudy trichomes and starting to get a few Amber. Her leaves are drying off so she is getting harvested before the weekend. Purple skunk is a bit behind so I think I will wait and see how she goes for another week or so. I always thought she’d be the one to finish first too. I think I will be drying in the garage. We are consistently getting 18 degrees outside now but with the temperature drops at night, I am not sure whether to bring the buds inside overnight. I’ll be drying in a hanging ‘herb’ dryer and I have my curing jars all labelled and ready to go. Thinking of wet trimming roughly then going in for a final dry trim later once dry to neaten them up. Drying advice welcome! I did think I’d have to harvest in stages and chop the lower buds later on. But even the bottom buds look like they’ve caught up this week. I have honestly enjoyed every second of this grow and I’m almost disappointed it’s nearly finished. But at the same time, I can not wait to see (and taste) the final result!

Day 71 - Fresh tank...all new nutes. Started PK Warrior today so they'll be on that for the next 4 weeks as I start to drop the bloom nutes gradually. Noticed on my time lapse on the Saturday night (Their day), they had quite a heavy sag...as much as I've been very critical of EC/pH numbers and the likes, I missed out on light height and it was getting a bit close and starting to heat stress them a bit...raised it on the Sunday and the last 18secs of the time lapse shows them bounce back great. Have raised it even further today to get it approx 14"-15" from the tallest cola, 16"-17" average from the rest. Noticing as well a lot more bottom leaves dropping off...hoping this is from light deprivation...have some proper, shriveled up dry ones in there too but some still green just coming away with a slightest touch - its near lollipopping themselves so all I am doing is removing whats hanging loose and trying to leave as much on there to allow the plants to absorb what it can before it discards them. As the canopy looking so strong, and flowers do seem to be getting bigger from the time-lapse, I'm not going to worry (just yet).

Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

Smaller phenos are swelling up a bit but hella unhappy, not really worried about them, just gonna turn them into rosin. The washing machine plant looks and smells amazing and is loving the feed, and that's the only plant that I'm really fine tuning for, just schedule changes on the rest of them. Last week of full nutes before switching to just VegPlusBloom Shine only pH'd solution. Gonna let them get a good amber going before chop and let the clones get ready to pop right into flower

This week went really well ! Today we are at day 79 from seed an looking beautiful! One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics! Super sticky an smell is so amazing, room full of purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz the smell you can’t beat, so many berries!!! Well stay tuned for next week! Cheers y’all

Day 50- All looking quiet good so far, no complaints. Fairly easy grow once you set up your plants training in veg. Only minor defoliation here and there when needed to expose bud sites to the light. Happy with the girls at the moment.

The buds are coming out. It's disappointing that I broke off a big stem, and some of the ones that survived are bent over so the canopy isn't as even. But it's OK she looks good and it's been nice watching her bloom.

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

Flowering Week 28: Blueberry – The Final Countdown Update: 25.09.2025 | Day 202 Hey Growmies, With her African BFF now harvested, the spotlight is fully on Blueberry – and she’s loving the attention. Here’s where we stand as we approach the finish line. Plant Status & Progress - She’s still asking for at least one more week, ideally two, to fully ripen. - Her structure remains gorgeous – long, elegant colas that keep fattening up daily. Compared to Durban’s dense nuggets, Blueberry’s buds are longer and more slender, but don’t let that fool you – they’re packing on weight. - Mold-free so far, even with all the rain. A true testament to her genetics and maybe a little grower’s luck. Aroma & Readiness - The smell is just… wow. Sweet, berry-bubblegum-like, and intensely aromatic even before full maturity. - My goal is to let most of her go until ~20% amber trichomes, but the weather is doing its best to ruin the plan. Weather Woens & Harvest Plans - Rain has been relentless for almost two weeks – nature’s way of balancing out that dry spring. - I may pre-harvest a few top colas next week to ensure I salvage at least some of this deliciousness if mold appears. As Mike Tyson said: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Well, the weather is throwing haymakers. Next Steps - Pray for a dry week (or at least a few sunny days) - Keep a close eye on trichomes and bud density - Prepare for a possible staggered harvest Week 28 Takeaway Blueberry’s testing my patience in the best way possible.
