12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

This week starts flush its week 7 of flower i think I feel behind a little on here maybe a day here and there. But anyways those week has been awesome. I don't think these things can get any heavier! They weigh a ton literally i bounce a leaf and its gana pop it off its so heavy! They smell like a hawian fruit punch. Not lemony like most weed and not going funky kinda exciting!! Like a bowl 🥣 of fruit 😋. They are so strong smelling its nuts had to get a gigantic carbon filter i swear u could smell it down the ROAD!!! Insane sticky i don't touch the buds but on a stem rub my fingers stick to the stem. Lol so that's exciting. I have almost done a week of flush today is day 5 I am gana do lil over 2 weeks so I can harvest on a Friday when I am off. I have put up pics of my life to share. Some of the things I have been doing at work. On a normal day wherein a 3 -5million $$$ house. Do some really awesome stuff sometimes like that hidden door made out of oak. It's still in work but will take a video when done to show off. Got me a new/ old vintage skateboard a California free former its about the size of my foot! It's from the 70s. Welcome to my next grow/experiment! Really excited to grow my first Mephisto Genetics! I have too many options so my girlfriend picked these seeds to grow first. I have plans to top once and hopefully be successful at making a clone to reverse. From there I’d like to maybe make some F1, and S1 seeds as well as breed it with the cultivar sharing the tent: Fastbuds Amnesia Zkittlez. This freebie seed had a slower start but they all popped! Started off germinating on Saturday 2/3 by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours before transferring to a wet paper towel. On Tuesday 2/6 tap roots were present (one was barely coming out) and they were moved to rapid rooter plugs and put into a humidity dome. On 2/11 they had sprouted up 1.5” and were transferred to the top fed RDWC system. Filled the reservoir following General Hydroponics 10 part chart at light strength and diluted by 50%. SE7000 is ~30” above at 40% providing ~270ppfd.

12 days after the switch Tropicanna Banana shows her sex and officially begins flowering. On day 28 I started with the Bio Heaven and Acti Vera stimulators, although the soil is prefertilized for only 2 weeks, the girls are in perfect shape and for now they don't need fertilizers. I inserted wooden supports in the grow to reduce the effect of negative pressure, it took away important space for growing. This week i've stopped using the humidifier.

The Banana Purple Punch is looking fantastic as it enters its 7th week of flowering! After checking the trichomes, it’s clear this plant needed a bit more time to mature compared to others, but the wait has been worth it.🌱 This week, I’ve started flushing to prepare for harvest. If all goes as planned, it’ll be ready to cut and hang by the week after next. The buds are looking dense and frosty, and I’m excited to see the final result!😊 So far, everything is progressing beautifully, and I’m really happy with how this plant is finishing up.

Hello all! I am finally back online and so here is a proper update for the Queen! Citronella has suffered terribly during the house move and following weeks, a few days ago I took her lower third off and defoliated and removed underdeveloped nodes. I dried the popcorn I took off during this process and got 12g (dry). The rest I am leaving on her and hoping and praying those buds swell. The smell is absolutely the greatest thing ever, she is stunningly pungent - even the quick dried popcorn is really beautiful to smoke - so whatever I get from her, whatever little it will be, I will certainly enjoy. Anyway she is now being taken care of a bit more regularly and properly and moving forward until harvest I expect this to continue. Day 109: Fertigated 10l Day 111: The queen is maturing, but I am not sure her buds are going to get much fatter at this point. She is already struggling to hold them up, they must be really dense if they are so heavy this small. I am really at a disappointed stage with this grow, and I must do better next time I grow this strain. I am not impressed with this LED light, I think I need to grow a full tent under my better light and see how they do. Anyway she is trundling along and I don't think too far from the inevitably disappointing harvest.

The other 3 GDP went through a flush today. Zkittlez was flushed. The very first GDP flushed in the 24th got flushed a 2nd time alongside the other 3 GDP. I’m still eyeballing to see when Runtz will be “ ready “. Finally got my dry box slapped together, DIY TIL I DIE BABY. Still it came out well for a first try. Heat ran out of control & I learned the HARD way why we don’t let our girls hang out above 85 for extended periods of time. I kinda had some severe foxtailing going on. Just biding my time until harvest , fingers crossed I don’t mess this last leg of the race up I’d be distraught . UPDATE : Lastly I found an area of BUD ROT on Runtz not knowing that’s what I had found the dust got flung in the air twice sooooo there’s spores in my tent & possibly on all my plants now . Trouble is I’ve flushed 5/10 plants & watered 5 others in the tent so humidity is super high. I’ve added in an additional dehumidifier because it is riding at 70%-80% . Within 3 mins of adding additional dehumidifier & opening tent doors as we as pointing circulatory fans at plants instead of the grow lights overall humidity dropped from 73% to 53% & still declining . Hopefully this is enough to keep the other 9 plants healthy & im going to have to harvest Runtz without Flushing . Good week. Just cruising along in flower. On full bloom nutrients and starting to stack up some pom poms.🤙

Still see nitrogen toxicity so im going cut biogrow down to half dose and see how it goes! Besides that all looks well Smells are stepping it up in a couple pheno! On the Chocolate Marshmallow side we have a intense sour fruity pebbles on a pheno that is just unreal And on the double d side we have some rotten tooth chem smells coming through!

Solid week in the tent yet again. The buds have been fattening slightly and frosting slightly as well. Plenty of white pistils being thrown still. Timelapse for the week is out, updates come as they go, the usual. -10/22- EOS T5 shots are out. Seeing some very nice purpling of buds and quite a bit of frost as well.

Put on alot of size, I think they are coming to the end of the stretch now, loads and loads of bud sites and both look so healthy, roll on next week 😀 👌

So this week i Can only enjoy how much she's growing. I had to do some more defoliation on day 23. I surely should defoliate way more but wanted to try like this. On day 25 , I just enjoy the view of that Wonderful plant😊

👉🏽 Day 78 (5/17): Watered for the last time and will harvest on either Day 80 or 81, with 24 hours of darkness the day before harvest. Reduced light intensity to 50% due to emergence of white stigmas. Loving the fade and the whole grow experience with this plant. It's a sticky one, for sure. 👉🏽 Day 81 (5/20): Harvest day! Will be doing a dry trim, so I just removed fan leaves. Now drying in the tent at 75ºF & ≈55% RH. (Will post harvest info/page after drying, since I forgot to weigh her wet.)
