Better weather this week. I fed kelp and molasses on day 45. Canuck is showing nice trichome development. The pyramid continued to grow so I gently applied a couple of more tie downs to let as much light in as possible. Branches are getting quite stiff. Smell is nice from both in the evening.

She’s looking great. Gave her a tiny amount (.5ml) of N-heavy nutes last night and she seems to like it. Grasshoppers are loving her, but there’s not much I can do about them, and the plant is doing fine in spite of them (3/8) jesus she grew more than 20cm this week

Richtig kräftige dunkle Blätter. Vom Längenwachstum hält sie sich eher sehr zurück. Ich hoffe sie macht noch ein bisschen höhe. Spraymix alle 2 Tage.

Good week, did quite a bit of defoliation, the main cola is getting bigger but I was hoping to see more growth on the other bud sites. Watering with a ph of between 6.2-6.8 from the top and the bottom without any run off about every 48 hours or whenever the top inch of soil is dry. This is my first grow and I would say it’s already a success, but I do hope the buds get bigger in the next couple of weeks. Would love to get 30g or more from this plant but I don’t really know.

Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. I'd like to thank 🙇‍♀️🏾 @WeedSeedsExpress and I look forward to growing their many different strains. Finally, let me apologize for the quality of my 📸 camera, or lack thereof. July 29, 2021, Thursday. I watered the crop thoroughly and rotated them. The girls (other than "J") are watered with pH'd tap water, that fluctuates between 6.2 & 6.4. July 30, 2021, Friday. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. I can't wait to see what more knowledge and experience will reveal. Anyone that's been on the fence about whether to grow or not, do it. Just go ahead and do it. Only thing I regret, is not being able to afford more 💡 lights and fans. Or if you want to grow vicariously, you can always sponsor me. July 31, 2021, Saturday. Everything is peachy. August 1, 2021, Sunday. I watered the girls today. I moved "J" into the "Veg Desk" and she seems to be adapting to her new environment quite nicely. Freeman's birthday is just days away! Freeman the person, not the plant. As I mentioned earlier in the diary, this grow has been in secret and is a surprise birthday present. I tell Freeman everything that happens in my life, so keeping this secret was a bit fun. I look forward to August 5, for the big reveal to Freeman! Stay tuned! August 2, 2021, Monday. Nothing to report. August 3, 2021, Tuesday. Watered the ladies thoroughly.

1/10 - Day 56 / Day 28 Flower The nutrient deficiency appears to be getting worse. After some reading, I suspect I may have a pH issue which is causing a nutrient lockout. I gave each of my plants enough water to get some runoff that I could test. When I first tested the runoff, I was getting pH readings of around 5.6-5.8 for my 5 gallons....not good. Way too acidic. I decide to do a flush out of an abundance of caution. I ran about 8 gallons of water that ranged between a pH of 6.5 and 7.2. At a certain point, I ran out of distilled and dechlorinated tap and decided to stop flushing at that point rather than introduce chlorinated tap water. At the end of the flush, I was getting pH readings of around 6.1 and 6.2 for my 5 gallons. Not ideal but should at least mitigate any further damage. Remarkably, some of the leaves that were starting to yellow began to bounce back shortly after the flush. **************************************************** 1/11 - Day 57 / Day 29 Flower The conditions haven't dramatically improved but also haven't appear to get dramatically worse. The leaves that were already yellowing seemed to yellow a bit further but I didn't notice any new leaves yellowing. After still more reading, I think I narrowed the issue down to a magnesium issue. My leaf symptoms seem to match all of the tell tale signs - leaves were turning pale green before fading to yellow, the yellowing was showing up first around the edges but all the veins were still green. Combined with the fact that magnesium lockouts typically occur when the soil is too acidic - I think I found my culprit. Even though the soil was still wet on my 5 gallons, I decided to go ahead and provide a half gallon of distilled water with 5mg of Cal-Mag to each plant. Of course, this was before I read some of the responses to my grow question and this was the exact opposite advice suggested by @BluntZilla who I think has the correct diagnosis of my problem (calcium toxicity causing other nutrient lockouts)... **************************************************** 1/12 - Day 58 / Day 30 Flower Based on the symptoms I'm having, it looks like the biggest nutrient deficiency I'm having is magnesium. In an attempt to mitigate that deficiency, I made a solution combining a gallon of distilled water with two tablespoons of epsom salts and applied as a foliar spray. Started applying this today - once in the morning and once in the evening. **************************************************** 1/14 - Day 60 / Day 32 Flower Watered my plants using spring water until I could produce runoff. The runoff readings were as follows: Z51: - pH = 6.4 - TDS = 1080ppm - EC: 2.2 Z52: - pH = 6.3 - TDS = 1040ppm - EC: 2.1 While it appears my pH is back in a healthy range, my EC readings are a bit higher than I'd like. Ideally, I'm aiming for 1.8 but didn't want to continue shocking my plants with a flush. **************************************************** 1/16 - Day 62 / Day 34 Flower My plants still haven't really turned a corner with the nutrient lockout issues as new leaves continue to succumb to the same symptoms of slow yellowing. Despite these issues, my buds are continuing to develop and becoming more full and dense.

Day 63: What can i say, its not going bad nor great. Maybe it is just me used to grow better plants lol. Last time i found another reason why it is the way how it is now. This week i also though about having 20hours of light. I have done it before but with other pots, soil and more, it is really rewarding to have 20-24hours of light with autoflowers, but after seeing them so much stretch i should had thought about having less lighthours like 12 to 14, it would had stimulated the flowering better and stopped stretching that much ahaha. That kind of dumb shit happens when you don't have enough time to take care of so many plants.

Well we started flushing the day after we updated the last diary, so it is our end week for our first grow and I must say, it's been a roller-coaster but we made it there in the end lmfao! Critical kush has been amazing to grow, she has stood strong throughout all the stress I've put her under with my learning mistakes and she has still turned out superb, I'm looking forward to smoking her if she smokes as good as she smells then ill be amazed! The smell she gives off is a fruity, sweet smell with a strong undertone, hard to explain but it gets my taste buds going! 6 hours later and hella sticky fingers... not my usual type lol... We have the girls down and trimmed, the wet weights are below from each plant and we have separated them in different tiers in the drying net so we can show an accurate wet and dry weight from each plant, intrigued to know how much we will loose once dry as the wet weight is a whopping 1,405g!! Plant one weighing in at 261g Plant 2 is weighing at 242g Plant 3 is weighing at 236g Plant 4 is weighing at 321g Plant 5 is weighing at 345g 51 ounce wet weight with slight stems. Will update harvest section next week once dry :) Happy growing!

Day 57 about to do my first schwazz Day 60 did a heavy defoliation. Not quite a schwazz. Almost Filled a 2 gallon bucket up with clippings a lot more light and air penetration is available. I think she’ll bounce back nicely Day 64. As the week comes to an end. I am very pleased with the progress. Canopy is nice and even. You can’t tell which one is the main cola. And for a little 300 watt light even the lower flowers are getting pretty dense. Still a long way to go. I would imagine this one will take over 90 days before see Amber. But we shall see

Transplanted into the 3 gallon medical buckets from thebucketcompany. Everything still going smoothly. Plants are happy under the gavita at 40% power and 50 inches above the top of the plants.

2025-06-15 I took zthe pictures a few days ago, the plants are in overdrive, producing lovely floweringstands xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Purplematic CBD is a unique autoflowering CBD strain. It’s a 90% indica-dominant hybrid cross of Kush Rose Auto CBD and Afghan Rose Auto CBD. Both of these parent strains are fast-flowering, CBD-rich autoflowers with excellent genetics. Kush Rose Auto CBD is, as the name suggests, a CBD-rich Kush variety. It boasts a unique aroma combining distinct hints of rose with the unmistakable spice and earthiness of top-shelf Kush. It produces thick, frosty resin and beautiful, dense buds. Afghan Rose Auto CBD, the second parent, is a CBD-rich hybrid with Afghan landrace heritage. It produces dense, heavy, and super-resinous buds in roughly 9 weeks. Afghan Rose Auto CBD has that complex, spicy, and earthy aroma characteristic of plants from this region. Purplematic CBD brings together the best of both parents. It flowers quickly, boasts a rich and complex aroma, and makes for a really easy strain to grow. Its buds are also very attractive, bringing together a beautiful range of extremely eye-catching colours. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Growing Environment Setup & Specifications Lighting System Model: Sanlight EVO 5-150 Quantity: Up to 5 units Power Output: 320W per unit Maximum Total Output: 1600W Environmental Control Management Unit: Growcontrol Growbase Pro Humidity Management: Dedicated Humidifier Dedicated Dehumidifier Temperature Control: Primary: System-controlled Secondary: Additional Radiator for supplemental heating Air Management Air Circulation: 2x Stand Fans Air Extraction: Exhaust Fan with Filter System Irrigation System Primary: Autopot XXL Pot System Water Storage: Flexi Tank Root Zone Aeration: Airdomes Dedicated Air Pump Growing Medium Type: TERRA PRETA MJ-Mix Nutrients System: BIOTABS Method: "Just Add Water" Strategy Type: Organic-based feeding

9/19 tied up some of the drooping branches on the bottom that have fallen from their own mass/weight. Shes been smelling so so awesome this whole time. Each day more frost, resin and trichomes cover the buds 9/22 looked at trichomes through magnifier. They're magnificently long with big heads. Not very many amber heads though. Like maybe 30% clear, 60% cloudy and 10% amber. Thats just a rough guesstimate, I may change that ratio later
