Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. 1x overdose doing very well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 21 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 250ml each day from now. Updated video

Start of week 6 flower. She’s pretty much on cruise control. Did a light defoliation, probably the last one until harvest. Noticed my ph pen has slightly been off and I’ve been slightly alkaline in my solution. Recalibrated and hit er with a heavy feeding and her normal but also added some cronk nutrients this week just to see if she responds. Overall, she’s starting to get funky, sugar leaves are sticky and really smelling of fruit loops. See ya next week

Week 7 has started and I'd say, overall she's looking good and healthy. day 45: It's time to give her some water and new "food". I took the opportunity to remove a few of the lower and inner leaves and arrange them a little more openly with some garden wire and string. Regarding those lighter leafs in the top center (pictures under the LED make it really look worse) and the reddish/violet stems i won't do anything for now but observing. day 46: just visual checks and refreshing humidation. day 47: The soil was already dry again, i guess because of those high temperatures during the last days (up to 38°C inside the box). As she seemed to be doing quite well, I decided to carry out a slightly larger defoliation. Some might even call it “soft lollipopping”. But as a beginner, I want to try the experiment and I'm more afraid of mold than a slightly lower yield. So I removed about 1/3 of the leaves and small shoots in the lower area and also took out some fan leaves and leaves that were growing inwards or covering other shoots. I then used some string to give her a new shape to bring the individual shoots back to a more uniform height. day 48: just visual checks and refreshing humidation. I guess she isn't too sad about her new haircut. Additionally playing around with the smartphone microscope I recently bought. day 49: The first pistils are beginning to change color. No water needed today, but i guess for a fresh watering tomorrow. Removed some leafes that wouldn't get much light The weather should cool down again today and in the next few days, so I'm hoping for lower temperatures inside the grow box. Today I will leave the box open for a while and try to cool down the room in which it is standing. day 50: My guess was right, it's watering day. Felt like she needed a little more nutrients so i slightly adapted my plan.

2 Black Cherry Gelato - Clones from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging high of 88°. We just put in AC dehumidifier and we brought down the temp to 70 Degrees and 48% relative humidity with lights on for ripening. The girls are starting to finish the ripening stage and ready to cut the tops. Smell is unbelievable sweet and dank. As we’re at the final few days we’re running straight ph’d RO water. This weeks accomplishments: AC for ripening Eradicated the Spider mites by doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues None. We’re just about done. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. And thanks to my beautiful fiancée for her patience and scouting talents. Check out my purple push pop grow and compare side by side- same clone batch. I also am doing an outdoor light deprivation run. This should be a great comparison of indoor versus outdoor grows on the same schedule, same nutes and same clone batch 👍 Best of luck gromies.

The cookie dawg video starts with the one on the right it is massive bit extremely leafly the second half of the video the buds look completely different. Not sure if its because these are done by seeds and maybe they showing extra sides of a certain parent on each plant? The second one looks more like the gsc side than the chemdawg and the other cookie dawgs I have here are also leafy looking but the one is in a more shaded area not getting as much light as the others. I know 9 plants in a 4x4 for a learner is pushing it a bit the plan was to get a 5x5 and pit 4 then 5 in the new tent but didn't manage to get it sorted so now I'm just going to gave to finish it how it is and be better prepared next time. I have a question if anyone can help: I'm growing in canna coco using canna coco notes. Last time I flused the blue cookies for 11 or 12 days just tap water nothing else. The problem is not even a leaf turned from green to yellow and barely just a few mm of the tips started to yellow when it was chopped down. From what I learnt on Google says coco either can have 0 days flush or 3-5 days flush but I gave it over double that and noticed when I smoked it made me wheezy compared to 5 different things which I bought and none of them made me wheezy. I have asthma and basically sold it all as for some reason unknown it made me wheeze. It was dried for 12 days at 60/60 cured for 6 weeks and tested it at every stage and it still had this effect on me. Please if anyone knows if this is related to the flush or maybe a build up of a certain chemical I just want to avoid it from happening again this time I was thinking to use another medium maybe soil and or a different nutrient brand to see if that helps 😀

The velvet moon looks the best out of the 3 different strains but the cookie dawgz are masssssive. The blue cookies this time hasn't got the best light out them all but is still hanging in there I took one BC out last week it finished early I noticed this strain is really fussy to grow compared to the others. Not sure if its worth the extra fuss but I've smoked some dried today and compared to the last lot its alot more stronger. Not sure if its because this time I used ph down or its because I've used reverse osmosis water this time 🤔 everything else is the same nutes the same lights etc...only other difference is its the first time I've grown in summer the humidity and heat is something I'm learning this time as I have only done this in the winter months before. I have had to turn my temps down instead of being on max 825w the gavita is on 600w. I think I burnt the trichomes last time with the 2 other cfls which was really close last time 😅 the taste is a lot more better this time also on the half metre blue cookies I yielded 11g dried bud compared to over 9 oz on a single plant the last time...... the last blue cookies in the tent hasn't finished early but I am thinking to free up a bit more space again to allow the other plant better light. I have bent and tied some tops to get into the light. I may do a staggered harvest and take some tops off to level it out better and yes I know I will top it next time 😉 I'm not confident to attempt a staggered harvest I don't want to fk it up but I think its needed

July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Extra watering, misting air, and wetting the sides of the grow bags with hose water to keep things cooler and hydrated. So far so good in the heat. Did foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Also note that for all my grows I use apple cider vinegar for pH adjustment and a Dr Bronners liquid soap as a wetting agent (surfactant). Euphoria is doing great, but to ensure that it finishes early enough for this latitude (53N) where the UV light gets very weak after mid-August, I’m starting the force flowering tonight. Already starting to flower but I want a strong flower set and as much flower growth under strong sunlight as possible. Force flowering schedule is 2-3 weeks of in dark garage at 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then back out at 7 am. The light initiates dark mode 2 h faster so it’s like having a 26 h day. Good trick use as a bloom booster, also moves up the finish 2-4 weeks. So, 10+2 is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight. Might sound bogus but it works. July 21: first night of force flowering caused a big stretch. Notably stretched after darkness in hot garage overnight. Hot outside overnight too but was much hotter inside garage and recorded here as 24 C. Seems okay and high overnight temperature might be ideal at this early flowering stage. Warm overnight temperatures continue for a few more days. July 22: record hot overnight low forecast for tonight of 24 C and feels like 27 C with humidity. Wow, that is really incredible for here and 13 C above historic average.
