Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! My strawberry pies are getting cut down on day 82, they all have some huge thick, dense buds and smell like strawberry cheese cake! By far my favorite strain to date I have grown can’t wait to give a smoke report! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!

Buenos días familia, de nuevo os traigo esta esta 5 semana de floración de nuestras green ak xL de zambezaseeds. Una está algo bloqueada y no quiere comer nutrientes la otra ya va mejor y si come. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Una cepa bastante difícil de dominar muy sensible a los cambios, pero que seguro bien cultivada dará todo de sí, xL su nombre lo dice.

This week has been awesome as far a new growth . The girls are coming along fine . I’m seeing some yellowing on the leaf tips so for the next few watering I’m going to use straight water and no nutrients. Overall both plant are healthy. I have some defoliating to do on both plants . I started low stress training but I stopped because with my work schedule ,it turned out to be a lot of work . So I plan on ordering a Scrog net to keep the girls evened out. Also every week or so I rotate the plants about a 1/4 turn to distribute sunlight and I’ve been tucking some of the bigger fan leaves 🍁 to get more light at the bottom.

I had a really great time growing these girls. The question regarding smell went out the window when they were drying!!! I had move my carbon filter and fan out the tent and in the living room. The smell was leaking out the apartment!! I’ve only sampled one of the 5 sisters. Who look so different. But all have the same smell for the most part. Gonna cure them all for the minimum 2weeks and see what that does tobyhe smell and taste also potency. Back to sample test very smooth smoke it was a tiny bit greeny in flavor. Microscope shows the telltale amber in some of the trichomes :). Did a full system clean with H2O2, long rinse, and the new solution is just pH balanced water and FloraKleen. Some crispy leaves at the moment but I'm not worried. Harvest is coming soon! Next post will be a harvest post and early smoke report 🙃

In start week 4 flowering! Doing well! Starting to fatten out now! The 2 smaller ones are Bruce banner and are 2 weeks behind the rest in flower!

Used earth juice big bloomin compost tea and big leafed this week.

My little experimenting already bears fruits of knowledge, I've topped too close to the node without leaving a bit of stem, and whilst tying down the branch during LST, I had a gnarly stem split. However a cool head, some grafting tape and a day of healing and this rugged little plant picked herself right back off the floor and shot up inches overnight! More and more pistils are shooting out and this plant is stretching so much, as is typical of OG strains, my last autoflower is nearly done, after which I will put a trellis net in and this lady can have the entire place to herself!

Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

Her aroma it's exactly the same that have her sisters. Very recognizable aroma, super super sweet and fruity I am Starting to feel more and more the cherry aroma. Very beautiful strain to grow. Very dense and compact nuggets. The size of the plant is not very big but her flowers are definitely top 🔝 and is gonna give a beautiful organic top harvest for me! Very recomended to you all growmies. Kthe aroma and the dense flowers will make you fall in love with her for sure. 💚✌️💦🌱❄️👨‍🌾

hey guys! I decided to baptized my two ladys and add some visual markers to see wich is witch easily! Batman = CBDurban / black bucket Robin = Afghan / white bucket After watching a tones of videos i finally decided to apply some prunning techniques. Batman received a topping to have for cola's, and Robin was FIM and i remove 2 big leaves that was doing lots of shadow! You can see the hole process by picture and videos! Thanks for following! Pequeño update! Pasamos a Pre Flora! Ahora si, estamos con 12 horas de luz y 12 de oscuridad, de a poco se pueden ver los "pistilos" (sé que no es el nombre, pero lo que se puede observar cuando sexa la planta). Viene muy linda y adquirió buen tamaño para el espacio que tengo de indoor (50x50x110) Veremos como evoluciona estas próximas semanas!
