This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

On the final stretch. Bug issues seem to be under control. All plants were flushed last week. This lady had 9l of dechlorinated water @6.8 pass through her. Checked pH in the run off and was spot on. All the buds are very dense. The way I have trained her has meant rather the some tall colas I have lots of smaller along the same branch as I kept the canopy wide and flat. I can't believe it's been this long! I started this grow after seeing @silky_smooth doing amazing art. So I decided to main line and train 16 colas.. second grow and probably way too ambitious. I have learned so much from her taking 4 clones and finding my way with my nutes. I hope I have not failed her or the great genetics Barney's Farm have produced. I had a vision of what I wanted her to look like and I feel I got what I set out for. Lessons learned. Slow down on nutes. Less is more sometimes! Plastic pots suck ass... At least 25l ones do. If I ever grow in this pot again I will amend my substrate as the drainage seemed way off with just biobizz light mix. Lights... 100% on the dimmer is not always best..(thanks @Mrs_Larimar) Bugs... They are bastards and I will start to feed nematodes into my final pot each grow from now on. And lots more.... She had a simple life little lst but thats about it she looked small as a plant but ended up being my highest yeild plant over 100 grams dry flower had couple problems with me feeding to much but sorted out just fine overall its a nice plant to grow very quickly and easy just don't get carried away with food my experience less additives the better grow simple with autos from fastbuds especially 2 or 3 additives is plenty or your gonna run the risk of buring them 😤 grow for this plant was 10/10 hardly any effort needed 70 quick days

03/15/2021 Reppoting of GSC done I used Bonide(4-10-3) Root&Grow with iba! to lessen shock of transplant and heavy defoliating. Flipping to 12-12 today (the first clones will be for outdoors) made before and after videos of defoliation, and reppot. Blue Dream is cruising along nicely with a little LST bending of branches & stems,so all in all not a bad week..

Some trichomes are clear others are turning cloudy , still no Amber. I'll lower the feed from now with a view to harvesting in the next week to ten days .

Week 9: Watering in at 700ml Finishing beautifully. The smells are intense, fantastic senescence (fall colors), Getting their swell on, trichomes are all cloudy.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought an new one from Amazon. It came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent throughout the day, I would rather finish this run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. She continues filling out her buds and the trichs are starting to form too. Your likes and comments are appreciated. Week 12 - Mehn Oh Mehn - The Purple Is Really Starting To Come In Now I Think Last Week’s Cold Temp Situation Really Unlock The Purple Characteristics. The Scent Is Very High And The Trichomes Are Mostly Clear With A Few Cloudy Showing. I Am No Longer Using Nutrients Because I Will Start The 2 Weeks Now Because You Don’t Want The Weed Getting Over Ripe Thats When The Scent Would Start To Face. So In Two Weeks Time I Will Have Mostly Cloudy With A Few Clear Or A Few Amber With Strong Aurora At It’s Peak. Tell me What You Guys Think In The Comments.
