This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. #1 first week in and she putting on some lovely blossoms....tied down a few of her branches (LST) and she is jus spreading her wings #2 diet seemed to be a off so increase potassium looks like it balanced out..jus watching it to see....also lock off extended hours of light so she can start to get ready to go into flowering

Another day another week and coming along nicely only difference this week is I have started pumping some overdrive through them now seems as it’s week 6 flower. 2 weeks on that then hopefully ready for a flush with pure water and a few days dark then harvest time. I’ve got a feeling the papaya is going to be ready before the cookies waiting for.my microscope for my phone to come then will update with some pictures of the trichomes.

Alright Then We just hit week 2 and all is well , have to admit she tricked me by perhaps topping herself which stunted her I think ,still good Growth in just 14 days😃 ....... Missed a day of watering but still looking like they are building proper buds first indoor grow I'd say is going good so far should be starting to flush my mid week on the black domina x Scott's og supposed to be a 7-9 week flowering time but not positive on when to start flush with Coco coir. Remo claims 7 days so I guess we shall see how it looks beginning of week 8.

Rocié con una mezcla de jabón potásico, canela y neem (para evitar plagas) y unas gotitas de trichodermas (para evitar hongos) Por si no lo mencioné, regulo el ph del agua con un liquido reductor de kawsay

01/26 - (Clone mother) - She got a little funky last week and was in recovery mode for about 2 days - She has since then recovered (24hrs) and is performing amazingly - Running high temps High humidity - 2 part feed (Clean/Nute) on micro-dose program. 01/31 - Applied HST to lay her out - she is rebounding accordingly - Increased her feeds to once every other day alternating from nute to clean water - picked up the lights a little (19 inches above canopy) to clear room for SOG

harvest day for the AK47 and Amnesia Haze

Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

The last week there has been a few hiccups. I over watered the gal a bit so the branches were drooping, a few days of almost 40 degrees so some heat stress didn't help but they still grew close to 5" though!! They have really filled out after I gave them a small pruning on day 44, and with the few hiccups they have come back healthy. I.e to.much water so let them dry out, and cut my it in half the volume which seems to be working better. I used a magnifying glass app to see when I'll get some signs of flower they are obviously not there yet but for a free app awesome pics. Pretty happy with how they are growing, no issues with bugs or critters. I'm using a few herbs as a natural bug repellent which seems to be working but have a neem oil spray bottle ready incase. Hello my friends! All was fine this week, I've just give water this week,I've started my flush this Sunday with 1.5 ml/l of flush clean, Harvest will be untill 2 weeks, Buds are nice and look compact, sweet smeel. Have a good week mate growers!

Wk 4 was where I started to notice things weren't as they seemed. Continuous growth and some LST started towards the end of Wk3 and throughout 4 as different plants developed. The 3 girls in the Coco were looking wonderful, with nothing really done to them. - Towards the end of the week I noticed my leaves on the girls In the aero were now dramatically wilting and discolouration continued. - I flushed the tank and proceeded with just water.. 12 hours later after some research I realised I most likely have root rot!! - The following morning I took a look at the roots in more detail and what I thought was a bit of nute burn from the gunky root juice was in-fact slime. - I again drained the tank and rinsed the roots with tap water. Fortunately I have an adaptable tap and managed to hose them with an actual hose sprinkler! (it was better than a shower head). To my surprise most of the slime and damaged root matter rinsed away. I literally just scrubbed the whole tank with Flash bleach and rinsed the absolute crap out of it. - Again more research educated me that organic fertilisers are generally not great for hydro - I also realised that amazons system is terribly designed. The red sprinkler covers which are there purely for inspection let an immense amount of light penetrate through. This was another noob mistake I learned the hard way! Moving on I bought some Regen -e- root and pursued my crusade!
