I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Our Slurricane is one of those plants that I always say are my favorites, I am fascinated by low internode plants for their style. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. Northern Lights - Day 54 Harvest Report! 🌿✂️ First harvest complete! Trimmed all top colas fresh, removing parts without trichomes and selecting only useful trim. Main stem removed. The untrimmed apex alone weighs over 90g! 😍 So massive I had to split it into smaller pieces to prevent mold. 5/4 Her first set of true leaves are coming in. So I guess I will call her in the vegetation stage. Skywalker was such a sweet child growing up. Haha. She had a bit of a rough start. Her shell was stuck on and she had some cold nights. She was supposed to be an outdoor plant and still may end up out there. Popped her a bit to early for the northeast. She really seems to love the spider farmer se3000. I do prefer growing under the sun. Other than that she has good color and is starting to pack on some height. 5/5 she is moving along. Turned the light up to 70 dim. She how she likes that. She is sharing the light with a younger cheese auto that is not ready for more power 5/6 life has been hard on this little girl. Turned the light up to 70 dim and she got burned. She is still growing at a good pace. Her single leaves got torched a bit, I think she will be fine. 5/7 she is happy I turned the light down. Growing well. 5/10 bent her over today, lst. Maybe a little early. Her 3rd node is out and she has branches showing. She had some sun the first few days after breaking ground. She will probably spend most of her time outside. The weather is supposed to be in the 70s for a while. Giving her a few hours of sun today then back under the light. This strain is supposed to be pungent. We shall see. This is my first mesphito grow.

Everything is looking good this week. Added soil on top of pot as I could see roots showing above ground due to excess pull I did when performing LST. Will not pull so much next time. Finally found a way to take nicer pictures.

Day 35 flowering: besides the obvious calmag need this little lady is waking up now. Her buds are looking very nice. Feels solid with a little squeeze and boy is she fruity smelling now. With still so long to go , she should give a very nice tield if i can sort the cal mag issue quickly.

week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1.6 and 1.7 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 822 ppm - 1.6 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 525 ppm - 1 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : from this week we can cause more E.C stresses. e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line.

Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.
